A mix, some liked it some could barely finish. Some thought it had less to do with war and more with love and some wondered why Hemingway is such a big deal.

This one was a bit of a struggle. It needs time to be read, not to be rushed through. Some knowledge of the time period it was written helps. Very good discussion book if everyone can get through it.

Very well written story about early settling of Australia. The writing really brought to life the place. The trials and tribulations, the horrors and the struggles. Recommended.
