Got an email from a future professor with the book list for a class this fall. Recommended from three titles to get started early on before the semester starts. The class is British literature from the Regencey Period and 18th century. This is not my usual taste in books.

Out of three novels that are easily plus 500 hundred pages and might bore me to death, The Italian looked most promising given that some might consider it a bit gothic.
