Written by a marriage counselor, the love languages concept provides a lot of insight into some of the reasons why the divorce rate is so high in the US. It's a quick read, although it does tend to get repetitive.

although most, if not all, of the excuses that guys give in this book are pretty obvious, i thought this was a pretty good read to get a woman's perspective on dating and relationships.

it's organized into sections based on a guy's behavior in the relationship, and within each section, there are anecdotal stories presented as a pseudo-advice column. pretty easy to read, and some of the stories are pretty funny or they'll make you think "wtf was this guy thinking?".
