I had such a hard time reading this. What really bothered me was that even tho this book was fiction, it was still based on a true story(s).
I have worked with special needs; a lot of them was abandoned by their biological parents, after they have found out that their child is not and will not be *normal*.
My advise is find a book called "Stolen Identity". By Viann Prestwich. This book is also about special needs, and in my opinion, a much better read. ]]>

Book synopsis:

This was one of the most strangest books that I have ever read. This author was way too distracting for me, she was all over the place. She has 5 different charters that did not add to the story, they didn't need to be in the book at all. They had no function other then to be distracting to the reader and the main charter, it made the book way to long. This Mystery was not a mystery at all, it was way too predictable. It wasn't suspenseful at all just distracting. ]]>

Nice plot twist. I have totally forgot about one girl, in the very first book "Goose girl," Mostly because it has been a long time I first read the first book. Poor Rin she is so full of confusion and guilt, ate at her, depression sat in and made her into almost a ghost of a person. Rin's journey out of depression helps her find out what caused the self loathing, also finds "Everybody else is taken, she must be Rinna." At the end of the book it isn't "all's well that ends well," entirely. She, (Shannon Hale) starts Rin's journey to become her own person. It sounds like Shannon Hale left you hanging and want to read more, but it doesn't, she ends this book well. A plan for Rin's redemption, to find out who she will become. So yes I liked the ending. ]]>
