Magical realism - lol, hadn't heard of that one before. I first thought it was some sort of crackpot metaphysical theory, but wikipedia has gladly disabused me of the notion.
How's that thesis coming?
Um, do YOU feel like refereeing all the arguments about whether or not falangism "counts" as fascism? or Soviet socialism? Or, heaven help us, Ba'athism?
I certainly don't.
Oh, I need your mailing address ASAP. My office is right down the street from the British Library hint hint.
I haven't had a chance to explore the site deeply, but from first glance it is definitely up my alley. Look forward to swapping book recommendations. :)
