Holy cow. An excellent sequel that completely fulfilled my expectations and complimented the first book beautifully. Again, completely engrossing story with very complex and believable characters and a story line to match. I wish that the third book in this series was already translated and available in English!! A totally engrossing read. I didn't get most of the little jokes based on street names and the Swedish language, but it was a tip off that this book had been translated from its original language! Stieg Larsson was a master at juggling complex characters and story lines, as well as at interweaving them slowly but surely and inexorably toward a very satisfying yet unsettling wrap up.
