Dissing the Superfriends? I may need to re-think this friends thing. Not sure if I'd trust the opinions of someone that doesn't appreciate the Legion of Doom.

I'm more a fan of pulp/larger than life/cheesy etc stories. There is some good 'mature' stuff out there, but too much of it seems to focus on breaking down the heroes. This trend that negative character traits are seen as more realistic, I find boring.
Basically, in the essential question of life, I prefer Superman to Batman.

Watchmen is an amazing read. My son liked the movie, but I haven't had a chance to see it.
