Picked this one up because Mundie Moms (just like Twilight Moms only for the Mortal Instrament series...don't judge) was going crazy over it. It is a love story involving fallen angels and I have to say the premis is really cool. Nora the main character I liked and I did like the bad boy, Patch, who turns out to be an angel. I was pretty intrigued with the story and think this author will only get better as she goes cuz she has a pretty good thing going here. I also got a sense of a deeper story under this initial love story. I will be looking for the next one.

This is the second book in the Wiked Lovely series. I was intrigued with the premis of this one before I even started because it was a sequel with a different character from the first book as the narrator and even starts with a scene from the first book told from her angle. It is also about tatoos which I have to admit I have a serious thing for AND deals with Dark Fairy court which was equally enticing. What I found when I got into it was even more amazing. I loved this book! I liked the first one but I LOVED this one. It dealt with a lot more serious subject matter but I Loved Leslie as a character and that the two men in her life vieing for her attention (faeries both, one from the Dark Court and one from the Summer Court whom we meet in the first book) were not flat. They were both dealing with the dark and light sides of their character so there was no obvious hero. I was completely fascinated by this book all the way to the end and loved each of the characters. Melissa Marr's books are everything that I wanted Holly Black's Faerie stories to be without all the base crap and language. Dark but not evil. Love this and excited to pick up the next one even if I will miss Leslie as the main character

YEA!! Done with the series. LOVE ME SUZANNE COLLINS! The thing I loved about these last 2 books is they deal alot with prophecy and predestiny versus choice and deciding what is right and who to beleive. She really fleshes out the inner conflict of these things and the battles and story did not disappoint!! The only thing I had a hard time with is the ending because I didn't want it to end that way. But if I tried to change it I couldn't see a way to make it work any other way. You know how you felt at the end of Harry Potter? It's always sad to say goodbye to characters you love so well at the end of a book and have them try to start over after such major lifechanging experiences. Your used to being there every step of the way and now you aren't. Well...life goes on. More books to read. Highly recommend this series!!!

This story ups the any in the series and makes everything start to come together. I love these characters and the struggle they are in. Each book comes up with something new and challenging for these characters to deal with. Even though half of the characters are animals they each have their own flavor and customs and morals. Truely facinating how they all interact with eachother. She really weaves a world that is amazing. Started right in with the last one as soon as this was over.

Liked this one. Love fairy stories and this has the intensity of Holly Black with out ALL of the yuck. I have to say I never really got into the whole boyfriend with piercings etc. being alluring but that is just me. Really liked the characters! Donia and Keenan were my favorite! Never quite knew how it would all be resolved but I LOVED the outcome and thought all in all it was extremely intruiging and met all my expectations. Excited to pick up #2 which takes another character and scene from the first book and tells us that characters story with a completely different set of circumstances. Sounds cool!
