After reading Nick of Time that is so a book for boys, this more girly book was exactly what I needed. It's loosely based on an obscure Grimm Fairly Tale and set in Medieval Mongolia so I really didn't know what to expect. Good story. Perfect for young boys. The author switched point-of-view in the middle of chapters which is confusing at worst and annoying at best. Over all I enjoyed it. I have enjoyed this trilogy immensely and this last book was no exception. It was absolutely amazing, if I could give it more stars I would. It's a very unique universe and the characters are compelling. I had no idea how it would end and when the end did come it was very unexpected and also very beautiful.
