"I'm still working on this slowly. I keep getting distracted with non-fiction. This book is a masterpiece. Thackery is one of the greats in literature. All of the bioographies that I have been reading have referenced Thackery and how much his satire affected many. So much of what he protrays continues on today in our society. Much to think about. I completely agree with his thoughts on large animal farms. It's disgusting. I only agree with his conclusions to a point. FYI: He is crass at times. |
