On a local note, two of the murderers hung out at John Ascuags's Nugget. I think the strengths also should and do include some insight into the FLDS church and the byzantine machinations that ended with the Prophet Jeffs conviced and in prison. It also foreshadowed the Eldarado TX incidents and difficulties. It is and was quite a conjunction of belief systems in the YFZ/Eldarado landscape and at heart tells us a lot about ourselves in the religion/state area. Carting off barely weaned infants to hardshell Baptist families is rather bizarre and difficult to justify. Terry, you might want to visit Hildale, Short Creek, Bountiful, Pipe Organ Springs, Caliente, Panaca etc. to get an idea of the situation. In fact, almost any town in the Arizona Strip is informative. The 'Lost Boys', whose only crime appeared to be that they were pubescent were driven out of the towns by the gendarmes and church authorities. No "failure to launch" here. Out of room now, Pat KEEP up the good work
