like many of MC books, crappy story but with a very interesting background.
it's interesting (for me) because the issue global warming is still hot right now. it's like a davinci code but with a different topic, questioning a hard-science behind a global warming.

the books is more like a thesis cover up as a novel. i speculate, the books contains a real concern of MC passion about science and media.

i suggest you read MC speeches (available on his website) if you like to skip the crap story. The speeches have the same message with the novel actually.
