about this author
Julie Wright wrote her first book when she was fifteen and actually got the thing published. Seven novels later, she thinks she's finally getting the hang of this writing gig. She has one husband, three kids, two dogs, five fish, and two banana trees--all living under the same roof. She loves writing, reading, hiking, playing with her kids, and watching her husband make dinner. She's recently become addicted to blogging and uses that as her excuse for being several weeks past her deadline on her latest novel. She hates mayonnaise. |

Julie's favorite quotes
"The person, be it gentleman or lady, who has not pleasure in a good novel, must be intolerably stupid."
— Jane Austen (Northanger Abbey)
— Jane Austen (Northanger Abbey)
"I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of any thing than of a book! -- When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library."
— Jane Austen (Pride and Prejudice)
— Jane Austen (Pride and Prejudice)
""What to do if you find yourself stuck with no hope of rescue: Consider yourself lucky that life has been good to you so far. Alternatively, if life hasn't been good to you so far, which given your present circumstances seems more likely, consider yourself lucky that it won't be troubling you much longer.""
— Douglas Adams (The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy)
— Douglas Adams (The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy)
"It is known that there are an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the Universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the whole Universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the products of a deranged imagination."
— Douglas Adams (The Restaurant at the End of the Universe)

"Nothing travels faster than the speed of light, with the possible exception of bad news, which obeys its own set of laws.
