I know you have to join the group to post, as its a +18 type. And your comments first may have to clear moderation before becoming visible. Not totally sure on that, but I think so.

Red Haircrow Yes, we spent the day in Poland, the weather was quite nice and we had an easy flight to Berlin after that.

message 22: by Nancy

Nancy Thanks for the "hit". Glad to know you arrived safely. Did you get a chance to stop in Poland?

Red Haircrow Nancy wrote: "Hope you're doing OK. Just got back from Poland..."

And I'm headed to Poland in a couple weeks before going home to Germany. Hope it was a good flight, wondering if I'll be using the same airline.

message 20: by Nancy

Nancy Hope you're doing OK. Just got back from Poland and got a computer virus that wiped out most of my files and e-books.

Red Haircrow Working on getting a story ready for release next week. It's titled "The Caravaggio and the Swan". Tentative blurb, though I'll probably have a few versions of it anyway:

"Despite a long-time, loving partner, Michael becomes enamored with a beautiful young man online, corresponding fervently, soon inviting him into their home. But he learns a choice must be made between "The Caravaggio and the Swan", and it is not his to make."

A bittersweet tale, which seems to be my preference...

Red Haircrow Currently packing books I am going to keep, to be shipped later. I think that's easier than trying to figure out exactly what I'm going to do with my other inventory.

Red Haircrow The Past

Thou unrelenting Past!
Strong the barriers round thy dark domain,
And fetters, sure and fast,
Hold all that enter thy unbreathing reign.

Far in thy realm withdrawn,
Old empires sit in sullenness and gloom,
And glorious ages gone
Lie deep within the shadow of thy womb.

Red Haircrow Are you one of those people who use the "f" word to refer to gay people, even playing with your friends? Some of us don't like it, and feel it is no better than other racist terms, even if it used with people who don't mind.

Ironically enough, it is really great fun to have a dialogue with him, read his comments, etc. He does have a distinct personality, but like all the people in my books, they are some aspect of myself as well.

Red Haircrow Posted a couple of comments on Christopher Koehler's blog post at Queer Magazine Online: "Strange Bedfellows: The Media, Women and M/M Fiction Romance".

The article addresses the topic of heterosexual women writing m/m fiction from an objective perspective, as I did in my article "Female Writers of M/M: My Thoughts".

Red Haircrow Researching for a novel project, I got carried away this weekend while investigating history books which would assist me in creating the correct "feel" and setting for my story.

Physical mailbox is rather small. With the amount of books I've purchased, and they'll all be arriving at random times, I probably should be more vigilant than usual waiting for the post worker so they won't be overburdened with packages/boxes.
