1340499 What's the werewolf classic novel? It seems all types of horror has a classic. Example, Dracula is the classic vampire. What's the werewolf classic? I'd love to read it.

590841 Guy Endore's The Werewolf of Paris is the foundational novel. I have no idea whether it's any good, though!

1254714 Maybe best Werewolf story would be a way to go. (Some of the best horror exists as short stories.) I have an old paperback titled Masters of Horror, edited by Alden Norton, that I've held on to over the years. There's just some great stories in that collection. One story is titled "The Were-wolf," by Clarence Houseman. Very well done.
