2046246 Harlon Coben's Tell No One is a good but i think his 'The Woods' is one of the best slow reveal thrillers written for sometime. His latest 'Hold Tight' was frankly, a bit pants.

1929140 For light reading, I really enjoy most of Jodi Picoult's books, which usually have some type of twist at the end... My Sister's Keeper is my favorite of hers, and the ending took me completely by surprise!

For a little bit heavier reading, The Pillars of the Earth kept me hooked and always guessing - this is particularly great if you like historical fiction... but even if you don't, give it a try!

My favorite genre is YA lit, and one of the best plot twists in YA I have read so far is Tangerine by Edward Bloor.

Happy reading!

1808681 'Cold Town' by Sarah Diamond. It's all planned out but suddenly changes at the end.

1572466 I listened to the audio version of Gentleman and Players last year and really enjoyed it. I never saw the twist coming at all.......

Nophoto-f-25x33 One of my favourite books ever is Gentleman and Players by Joanne Harris. It's very different to her other books. It has a great twist and I didn't guess it at all. Doubly, trebly recommend it!

1847457 Fingersmith by Sarah Waters is an excellent and very twisty read. I highly recommend it.

560953 Light read with plot twists would be the Odd Thomas series by Dean Koontz. Odd Thomas is the first book. I guess they'd also be listed as Suspense.

I third The Thirteenth Tale

276475 Susan, I agree about HoL! I wasn't expecting the mystery part!

409814 I'm always on the lookout for these kinds of books, but have had little luck...I did enjoy Wyrms by Orson Scott Card and Shinigami by Django Wexler, which I though had unexpected endings. Recently I was recommended Hart's Hope by Card in my review on Wyrms, so perhaps that will be similar. In fact, all of Card's books that I've read have had interesting endings...The Grapes of Wrath had me guessing throughout, and if I'd read the last chapter after only getting through half of the book, I would have been very surprised.

All of these books are a little on the "mature" side, so I don't know if you'd want to look into them, and they're also not the best examples for plot twists.
