This discussion covers Part Three, pp. 599 – 730 (506 – 616)
Springer’s crashout party is a big success and everyone loves the Molotov cocktails. Närrisch calculates the frequency and quantity of his life in the curve. Enzian reconsiders the Zero population plan in light of evidence that the Rocket might not be the Real Text. Slothrop roots around in the dark and decides it’s time to get off the boat. Katje watches a movie. Pirate Prentice perambulates a proto-paranormal plane and contemplates his shame. But if They are One, doesn’t being a double agent mean nothing more than twice the paperwork? Major Marvy swaps quips mit Bloody Chiclitz. In Cuxhaven, Rocketman Slothrop finds new work in a pig suit. After a nice game of chess, Pökler tells a tale of Jamf and rockets and such. Some Bland backstory of Masons and mind trips. Two doctors walk into a whorehouse looking for a man in a pig suit and before he can explain, Major Marvy receives the unkindest cut of all.
To avoid spoilers, please restrict your comments to Part Three, pp. 599 – 730 (506 – 616)
(and the earlier chapters).
