The way the series is and the books combined is confusing to me. If the first book was "Little Women" volume 1 and "Good Wives" is volume 2 with the combined versions being reprinted in 1880 as "Little Women". Then that means that many of the books in the Volume 1, "Little Women" should actually be in the "Little Women and Good Wives" editions.

For example:
http://www.goodreads.com/book/edit/44...

contains both the volumes of Little Women and Good Wives, so shouldn't it be in that edition section, since it has the text from both volumes?

Krystal109 | 1081 comments I suppose it would be too hard to tell which only have the Little Women vol. 1 text in it to separate them.

This has been discussed here before, and it's complicated.
