What do you think was wrong with this book?
Did you like how the author wrote this novel?
Did it intrigue you, in any way?
I thought it was okay. I didn't personally like how the story was told in Acts and scenes like it was a play. I just had a difficult time getting into it. I don't know if I just need a break from Holocaust books or what. One aspect that I did like about the novel was that I really didn't know much about the Danish involvement and resistance in the WWII before I read this. Other than that, I probably won't be recommending this book to many people. I liked Yolen's Briar Rose better.
