I will have to check out some more of the new books. My problem with them is they are all series books. Books written as a series never turn out to be serious adult literature. Plus all the ways they have butchered, and disfigured what a true,Gothic,Eastern European Vampire is all about. Being a hot super hero is not Vampire the end nuff said. My favorite vampire is Carmilla. A story written in 1879 about a female vampire about 19 or so. Who preys on other girls. She falls in love with them and feeds on them and plays with them for a few weeks and then kills them. It is free online because it is a classic like Dracula. You Suck is a great single book vampire story staring Goth Girl Abby Normal. Abby is real Goth. No vegan crap for her, LOL! The only series books I like are Sookie Stackhouse and Cirque Du Freak.

I absolutely fell in love with Karen Chance and her Cassie Palmer series, and Cassie's vampire that is constantly attracted but also does not want because he is powerful and she hates the thought being owned or controlled. But Mircea is a very powerful vampire who is a Romanian, smooth talker, sharp dresser with long straight black hair, sexy but still has that edge.

Yeah Evrah is real cool and the little blue robed people. Madam Truska and Hans Hands, and I just got to the part where Reggie Veggie got his arms bitten of by the wolf man,LOL. It is deffinitly a young persons book but very cleverly written. It is in a league of it's own as far as vampire books. I am going to have to read the whole series. :)

Which tend to be shallow uninteresting books mostly. Sookie Stackhouse being the sole exception. Darrens vampire world with Mr Crepsley is different than any of the other Vampire books. There are lots of interesting characters and magic,action. They are fun to read because they are different from all the other books out there.

Cirque du Freak(the movie) does look interesting. I read book 1 and 2, haven't read the rest. But i will. They have the books in my schools library.

Um I don't know I would say Twilight is for 13 to 14 year old girls. I sure hope no guys like like book, LOL

Twilight is the type of book for preadolesents, like twelve year olds, I think so.

Trust me everyone does not like the Cullens,LOL. I think Twilight series is such serious boring bullshit. I can't believe they squeezed out another movie from those books. I read Twilight because it was on the New York Times best seller list and was Vampire. It just goes to show the N.Y. Times list doesn't mean shit. I have Cirque du Freak the Vampires Apprentice on order at the library. The movie looks interesting so I thought the book would be too.

Read a Sookie Stackhouse Southern Vampire Mystery. That is where TrueBlood comes from. You will dig the books. Read Dead Until Dark the first one. Very fast pased with a whole cast of supernatural characters. Rather like Buffy the Vampire Slayer TV series or Angel.

My cousins are forever trying to get me to watch true blood but i always have to go home before it comes on in the afternoon. so i really don't even know what it is about. i have reas all of anne rice's books though. i love them.

I love Dracula too, and also Carmilla. Both Bram Stoker & Sheridan Le Fanu were from Dublin Ireland. Both stories are true to the Gothic vampire mythose, and way more interesting to me than modern vampire stories. Although I do like Sookie Stackhouse books & Trueblood.

My fav vamp is Dracula. he originated from vlad the impaler. i have all the original stories and book by Bram and i love them all!!!! next on my list would have to be Lestat

Damn straight Dracula is the greatest Vampire story everwritten. I am rather partial to Carmilla myself. But Dracula is my favorite male vampire and Carmilla my favorite female vampire. Ever seen any plays? Like one of the Dracula ones with Frank Longella, or Walter Mathau. Oh its Sunday and Interview With A Vampire is on Cable and Satellite today. Not my favortie. But its Vampire nuff said.

Girls tend to do like Angel more than Spike, but I will always like spike better. The character is just so great, the humor, the accent.

It's funny how guys and girls pick their favorite vampires. My favortie male vampire would be Dracula. If you ever read the book you would know why I like him. My favorite female vampire is Carmilla. Because I have read both classic and modern vampire books, and Movies/TV. I know who Buffy and Sookie are too. Its funny all the girls like Eric better than Bill in Sookie Stackhouse. In Buffy all the girls like Angel better than Spike. I myself always prefered Spike. Because he was the bad guy. Angel was just too much of a nice guy. However if you notice as Buffy progresses Angel and Spike become friendly allies competing for Buffys attention and she dumps the both for The Immortal. Charlaine Harris ripped off a lot from Buffy in writing Sookie Stackhouse. In Sookie Stackhouse the story progresses the same way even. With Sookie falling for Bill and then being stole away by Eric. But in the end neither one of them will have her. At least that is what Charlaine Harris has said.

Cool so so they got bonded, LOL. So Beth is turning Vampire and has a Vampire father. Does she live with a foster family? Why did the father send Wrath and not help her through the transition himself. I am thinking he sent Wrath to do it because he could not do it himself for some reason. I might think Beth maybe lived on her own. But she must be young. Because she is just now undergowing the transition. Am I right so far? I tried to look up the book Black Dagger Brotherhood. But it must be the title of a series. Because there is no one book called Black Dagger Brotherhood on the Library system. It does however mention a Black Dagger Brotherhood movie. I need a specific book title. What is the first book in the series? I suggest you read Dracula. But I am afraid your are to young to get into Dracula or Carmilla. I liked both of those stories when I read them at 14. But times change. Wrath, Rhage, those sound like the names of Xmen not vampires. However I am a very open minded guy, and as long as it's about vampires I will at least check it out. I think Carmilla and Dracula are the best vampire stories ever written. They are not series books.
