Editorial Board Chooses Finalists for Writing Contest
The Textnovel.com Editorial Board is pleased to announce the finalists for its annual writing contest. One of them will receive a $1,000 prize. We plan on announcing the winner in the next few days! In order to be considered, the finalists had to have at least 20 chapters up by December 31st, 2008. The finalists under consideration by the Editorial Board include the following stories:

The Editorial Board is looking at literary quality and marketing appeal so that the finished work is publishable in novel form and is likely to sell well. We are also focused on a work that reflects the unique quality of TextNovel and the Internet if possible, since this website is about publishing works in serial form. Note that Editorial Board members were not allowed to vote for their own stories. They were asked to rank their stories in order of preference, using the foregoing criteria.
