i read that 30 years ago and the librarian recommended it to my daughter. did it survive over the years? still worth reading?

I love "I like you". Amy Sedaris is hysterical, just like her brother. I got this book for my birthday last year, and I have enjoyed it as both reference and time killer/conversation piece.
