Welcome to the group, Iwaitforsam, Paulette, Cassie and Betty! I'm so sorry it took me so long to welcome you all. With out fiscal year end at work, I've been going insane, and when I'm home, after the kids are in bed, I sleep, LOL! The sleep's good, but everything else is starting to suffer - like missing out on the group, laundry, dishes, and the house in general.
Anyway, enough of my babbling (see, I'm tired, LOL!). Don't hesitate to pull up a chair and browse away! We have group reads each month, as well as an author of the month, and the games are a blast to play. We have some discussions going on, and if there's a discussion you'd like to start, go for it!
And if you have any questions, we'll be more than happy to help!
Once again, welcome to Gigi's Company!
Happy Reading!

Kathleen, thank you very much for accepting me in this group. I discovered Goodreads only last February and became addicted to this site since then. Im 31 years old and work as a Legal Assistant in a government agency. I love to read classical novels, and other morally complex books. Though I admit that Im a fan of Harry Potter series. To answer your question, I can both read in english and tagalog, and actually, most filipinos can. =)
Maraming salamat po ulet! (Again, thank you very much!)

Brandie,
You will find many people here who share your interests. Don't forget authors, such as Christine Feehan, who are credited with starting the modern phenomenon of paranormal romance, or mega titans of the paranormal romance genre, such as Sherrilyn Kenyon, or others in the field whose work has received consistent high marks, such as J.R. Ward, Angela Knight, and Susan Sizemore to name just a few.
Thanks, Kathleen!
My name is Brandie, I'm 28 and I live in Akron, Ohio with my hubby, our two dogs, and two cats. I'm an administrative assistant by day - avid reader by night. I love a variety of genres...romance, suspense, chick lit. Lately my obsession is paranormal...I'm a huge Twilight fan and am loving reading everything and anything vampire/wolf/angel/immortal-like. Favorite authors are Nicholas Sparks, Stephenie Meyer, Emily Giffin, Joy Fielding, and Jen Lancaster. Favorite books are Twilight, The Guardian, Firefly Lane, Whispers and Lies, I could go on :)
I'm excited to be a part of the group!
Welcome to our 3rd Wendy to join Gigi's Company--thank goodness all of you ladies have significantly different avatars!!

Born and raised in Northern Ontario, by my mom's parents were from Italy. I'm just not sure which region. I did get a little family history lesson a couple of weekends ago. My grandfather was a young teen at the time of WWII. He had refused to fight and was arrested. He had escaped from the train they put him on, went back for his parents, and they escaped to Africa. They traveled from there to here. I'm not sure of my grandmother's story, but she was the same age and had also immigrated around the same time, or the year earlier, if I'm not mistaken. They met and were married. LOL, our own little family drama. I wish my grandfather was still with us so that I'd be able to hear the story from him. My mom's sister doesn't remember it all, unfortunately.
My mom was born and raised here. My dad was born and raised in Quebec, and pretty much followed his oldest brother's footsteps, both eventually settling here in Timmins. My dad met my mom, they feel for each other, had me, got married (I was born 6 months before they were married, LOL! in 1977). We were raised with both, French and English languages. Je parle les deux langues tres bien! Je suis fiere d'etre franco-canadienne!
And now that I used this time for a brief personal history lesson (LOL!), I must go prepare dinner for my kids.
Arrivederci!

Hi Kathrine! When it comes to questions, don't hesitate to ask! We'll be more than happy to help!
Greece! That is so awesome! My ancestry is Italian - I still have family in Italy, but haven't spoken to them in years, ever since my grandfather passed away. Italy is one place I'd love to visit when my kids are grown...
Hi again!I read books mostly in english but i won't refuse one in greek.
Thanks for the instructions. If I find any problem, I may ask again ( this will probably happen!! ).
Kathrine
Kathrine!!
Welcome again and so glad to have you here. Do you read books in the Greek language edition or in English?
On games: Go to the first page of any game and read the rules for that game. Then hit the button that says, "newest" to take you to the last post on that game. After you learned the rules and are comfortable posting without reviewing how the game is played, then click on the word "games" from the group home page. It will take you to a page with all the games listed. The listings will look as follows:
Opposites Gina 334 (1 new) 163 1 day ago, 02:04PM
The words that I have bolded on the entry above are actually in red on the games pages. Click on the red lising that says (1 or whichever number new). That link will take you directly to the newest entry for that game.
Happy Posting!!!
