Thanks for letting us know that Rivka. It's good to know and I'll keep it in mind for when this happens again.
He's in like 59 groups, they will probably all get scmmed They definitely will. It's the only reason they've joined the groups and Goodreads.
rivka wrote: "Hmm. They shouldn't, not when the member is deleted administratively."Here's one of the posts.
Wait. That was Isis posting in that "good group" topic created by "deleted member." I think her post flagging it is what caused the topic to remain. She'll delete it as soon as she sees that, I'm sure. Thanks again, Rivka.
I poofed the topic :) His initial post was gone, by mine was still there.Yesterday (or whenever it was), the one in the Nora Roberts group still had the person's post, but said 'deleted member.' Maybe it takes the system a little bit to catch up to the deletion. Dunno.
If you get rid of the member without deleting the post, it might remain. If you simply delete the post the topic and other messages will remain. You can delete your own post. If you're a mod you can also delete the entire topic/thread.
http://www.goodreads.com/user/show/28897...yup. flagged him in the Christopher Moore group. He is unstoppable! This is really silly now.
Ahmed in the Poe group. Flagged him. I think he's having a blast. Could we send him a blast of spam busting, viral loaded, Ahmed computer killer something? anything?
Flagged him in the banned books group.I wonder if it would ever help if Goodreads sent a message to spammers/serial spammers before deleting their "membership" status. Probably not, but simply deleting them often doesn't work either.
He's posted in the Children's Books group, as well as the L.M. Montgomery group (Kindred Spirits), I deleted the topic in both...
