I would think that #6 doesn't count as a 6 letter title because really Forbidden Embers is a two word title. But I see in the close up that "A Dragon Heat Novel" is beside the title

LOL! Nice book cover isn't it!!LOL Anyway, I figured that one was iffy so I will look for another number 6, to be fair!!! On my kindle it showed up with the whole name but on the cover I see how it isn't really part of the title!!! Thanks for the insight and the pic!!!

I agree with Julianne. I have a book Bloodseek, the series name doesn't count towards the title in my opinion.
Besides, I need about 3 more 6-word title books. That's going to be difficult

This one isn't much of a challenge since I read on average 20+ books a month lately. Though need to find a 4 and 6 word book but I have enough books on reserve at the library at the moment. Sadly, I walk in and they don't ask for my card anymore. They just walk up to the shelf and pull off 5-14 books that I reserve since I do that every week.

I think of it just like a piece of information on a book just like the description.
I wish more books would do that and also put what number it is in the series. I hate when I have to keep looking it up online.

Pressing edit allows you to change everything about that comment.

Click edit and you can change your post then hit the edit post button :-)

Progress: 4/4 #5 if I get time among all the end of term 'fun'...Hmm, was going to aim at doubling 1-3 since I don't seem to have any 5 or 6 on this month's list then I realised I have not 3s! Found one in my last library haul though so all set for an Easy version.
I'd love to do this as a 6 month challenge, perhaps as a reverse numbers variation (4x1, 3x2, 2x3, 1x4 ?)

Duration - June
This month's challenge is to read between one and six books which have a certain number of words in the title.
(Hard original challenge - see below for the easy variation)
Ideally start with one word and work upwards towards six words. As an alternative if you are doing fewer than six books you could start at, say three words and do three books with three, four and five words in the title. You can include a, the, and etc if you choose!
All books should be PNR/UF or related genres if at all possible!!
The full challenge:
1. One word title
2. Two word title
3. Three word title
4. Four word title
5. Five word title
6. Six word title
If you want to read fewer books simply choose your starting point and work upwards for however many books you want to include in the challenge.
Eg - to do a three book challenge
You can start at any number from one to four.
Say
4. Four word title
5. Five word title
6. Six word title
OR
2. Two word title
3. Three word title
4. Four word title
I'm sure you get the drift!!
EDIT: your number of words in the titles should be consecutive! ie 123 or 2345 if you are doing less than six books!
EDIT #2 - for an EASY variation it is acceptable if you want to read six books to read two books each with 1,2 and 3 words in the title. (Easy only becasue there are so many books with 1,2 or 3 word titles!!!) ONLY AVAILABLE IF DOING SIX BOOKS
