Renske | 3267 comments Both serieses Malory Towers and St, Clare's by Enid Blyton have sequels written by Pamela Cox. Someone has added those books to the series page of the original books. I'm not sure if that is the right way or that they should have their own pages.

For Malory Towers http://www.goodreads.com/series/52004... , the German translations have their own sequels http://www.goodreads.com/series/56388... , so should one sequel series getting a different position than another?

With St. Clare's http://www.goodreads.com/series/52009... my problem is that the book are currently in chronological order so some of the books by Pamela Cox are between those of Enid Blyton. I would say that if they stay on this series page they should be in publication order.

Amara (AFTanith) In regards to the St. Clare's series, I imagine most people would prefer to read a series in chronological order, so I think it should be left alone. The publication order can always be written in the description.

Vicky (vnorthw) | 2440 comments I'd also agree that Renske is right and the books should be in publication order.

Many readers prefer chronological order but many other readers prefer publication order. A good baseline is how the author orders the book - if an author says that the fifth published book must be read first, then I would arrange the series that way.

In this case, Enid Blyton's website lists them in publication order. I think the chronological order should be written in the description.
