Book 165: All the Lovely Bad Ones by Mary Downing Hahn. Disappointing.

Book 166: Mission Drømmeprins by Pernille Eybye. A new YA. I wasn't impressed.

Book 167: Ateistisk andagtsbog by Leif Andersen. A very well-written devotional.

Book 168: The Amulet of Samarkand by Jonathan Stroud. I think I was expecting too much, because I was disappointed.

Book 169: Drager over Kabul by Morten Hesseldahl. Political suspense. Not half bad.

Book 161: Dime Store Magic by Kelley Armstrong. Not as good as the two first in the series unfortunately.

Book 162: New Moon by Stephenie Meyer. A reread - I still love it :)

Ha! I hadn't even noticed I'd hit it twice :-D Nah, probably not going for three. I could make it if I decided to read nothing but Babysitters-Club and Animorphs (those only take me about half an hour each), but I prefer a bit more variety in my reading ;-)

My goal for this year is 200 books, but so far it doesn't look like I'll make it. That's not going to stop me from trying though! ;-)

Book 149: Evermore by Alyson Noël. Not recommendable.

Book 145: Emissary by Fiona McIntosh. Not nearly as good as her Valisar trilogy, but still worth reading.

Book 146: And Another Thing... by Eoin Colfer. Trying to fill Douglas Adams' shoes is a thankless task, but I think he managed quite well.

Wow Kay, thanks! I think that's the first time I've ever been read an amazing reader - I think I like it :) I like to read a large variety of books, but tend to overindulge on fantasy ;)

I grew up with "Pippi Longstocking" (well... Astrid Lindgren in general) and love her!

Maria, you are an amazing reader. I may reach 100, but that's partly because now that I've hit the 75 goal I've got a stack of kid's books I want to revisit. Things like "Pippi Longstocking" and "The Secret Garden". On the other hand, your list is weighty and absolutely full of titles I'd love to read some day.

That's really something! I read that many in a week when I was on vacation at my mom's farm this spring. I was soooo tired, I didn't feel like doing much. And I had taken 4 from the Mrs. Pollifax series, plus a couple others. It pretty much took me the whole week to get rested up, and by then it was time to go home! But I did enjoy reading . . . sometimes, 5 in a month is all I get to!

In my review I linked to a fanfic about Susan's life after "Voyage of the Dawn Treader" - it's not terribly long, and I think you'd really enjoy it.

The Last Battle always made me so angry about Susan (won't say anymore in case of spoilers, but I never liked that part)!

It's excellent, but make sure you have "The Awakened Mage"/"Innocence Lost" (apparently the second book has two titles depending on where you buy it) readily available. You'll want to dive straight into it once you finish TIM.
