2260171 Hi all

Been a fan of Ms. Feehan's for 7 more or less years. She was the 2nd paranormal romance author I ever read when i started romance. Many of her series are addicting. I hope she keeps writing and never stops. i pretty much read anything by her. I don't gulp the books up i take my time but when I get my hands on one it only takes one day or night to read. I love her stuff so!!! Sigh.

Am a member of CF yahoo group. It is a wild place everyone there is so nutty. Have not been there lately though. My fav topics there are the fights about which Ghostwalker belongs to who. People get very possessive. I am glad this group is much mellower.

1570669 Thanks for the welcome, Kathrynn. :)

2656435 I just picked up on this group whilst looking at other groups in the supernatural readers groups.
I'm from Melbourne Australia and am a mad reader.
I discovered the Christine Feehan books by chance and have now read almost all of them. Well, by saying read, I have actually listened to five of them that I've downloaded from audiobookstanddl.com.
I'm dying to read the last of the Dark series about Razvan and the Ghostwalker series is one of my favourites also.
It will be good to talk over the books with all of you.

Hey Debbie .. i'm sure you'll love the Drake sister series! .. they are really good, I class them as one of my favorite series, and found although they are all written as individual books.. it helps to read them in order.
hope you enjoy the series as much as I have!

message 50: by Debbie (new)

2474586 I am new to this group and pretty new to the site. I have read all of the Dark series and rank it as one of my favorite series. I look forward to reading some of CF's other books (like the Drake series - I have heard great things about them).

1570669 I guess I never introduced myself on here. I'm Danielle, and I am a bookaholic. I read my first CF in January (Shadow Game) and I have been hooked since then. I am working my way through the Dark series (and loving it), and the Drake series, but my favorite are the Ghostwalkers. Those guys are fatally sexy, and their heroines are freaking awesome. I'm happy to talk to other CF fans.

message 48: by Levi (new)

2713349 hey everyone! :)
I love love love CF!! I have read all the Drake Sister's series, and have just started off on the Carpathian series .. and obviously fell in love! .. I'm trying to read them in order so..baught and read with in a day the first = Dark Prince, and just ordered the next two, = which I think are Dark Desire, and Dark Gold .. really excited for the read!
oh a little about me = My name is levi, come from Wales, have a huge obsesion with books, along with a few other hobbies, and seem to be constantly logging in to this website!

2385738 I´m also a big fan of CF. The first CF book I read was actually Murder Game. But I have read a few since, like a milion! I lover her! She is so diverse. But even though I really like the Carpathians and Drake sisters the über-favorites are the Ghost Walkers! I just read Conspiracy Game and can somebody please take me to Jack Norton! Phew! What a man. But Kadan isn´t that bad either...

About me, well I live in Stockholm Sweden, manage a review site for paranormal romance (fantastika.se), cuddle my three cats and spends just to much time on Goodreads. It´s fabulous!

message 42: by Mrsku (new)

2242201 Hi everyone!

I have just started reading this series and am SOOO happy I found it. My friends and daughters are all absolutely addicted now. My only problem is that I have read them all out of sequence and trying to get hold of them from our local library has been a nightmare all on it's own. However, its worth it. I've read ...

Dark Prince
Dark Desire
Dark Secret
Dark Legend
Dark Possession and at the moment I'm reading Dark Symphony

The discussions we all have over this series has us up till the early ours of the morning.

Fantastic Series.

2191682 I'm reading Dark Challenge right now. Its been really hard to track down the novels in the correct order for me, so I'm just reading whatever I can get my hands on & buying whatever I can. I seriously have issues with putting the books down!

ETA: Finished Dark Challenge last night! :)

message 40: by Kathrynn (last edited Apr 12, 2009 08:58AM) (new)

669573 Good for you, Rebecca! :-) What are you reading now?

message 39: by Rebecca (new)

2191682 Thanks for the welcome Kathrynn! :)
Since I was here last I've acquired a few more books. Now I'm only missing one GW book & have a total of 6 Carpathian books...I'm so excited!

message 38: by Kathrynn (new)

669573 Welcome Rebecca!

message 37: by Rebecca (new)

2191682 Hi everyone!
I just joined goodreads & had to check out this group.
I read my first Dark novel 2 weeks ago (Dark Demon) & have been reading anything CF that I can get my hands on. I'm trying to acquire all of the Dark & Ghostwalker novels that I can, but I'm not reading them in order...silly I know. I am simply hooked!!

message 36: by Kate (new)

Nophoto-f-25x33 Hi

I was tring to read them in order, I've read:

Dark Prince

Dark Desire

and I'm in the middle of

Dark Gold.

I love Aiden.

message 35: by Kathrynn (new)

669573 Hi Kate,

Welcome to the Group and the world of Christine Feehan's Carpathians. Are you reading the series in order? Which ones have you read?

message 34: by Kate (new)

Nophoto-f-25x33 Hi everyone,
i've just joined this group, and just wanted to say hello.
i stared reading cf's Carpathian series just a few weeks ago but i just can't seem to put the books down, it's getting to the point where my bf's complaining because 'i've always got my face stuck in a book'.

message 33: by Jess (new)

901103 Thanks :)

message 32: by Kelley (new)

1988351 Welcome Jess :)

message 31: by Jess (new)

901103 I've read the first three. Dark Prince, Dark Desire, and Dark Gold. I liked the first and the third, but I didn't really enjoy the second one.

message 30: by Kathrynn (new)

669573 Welcome Jess! Which of her Carpathian series have you read?

message 29: by Jess (new)

901103 Hi everyone! I just recently joined this group. Some of my friends on goodreads kept talking about how great Feehan was so I decided to start reading her. What a fantastic move on my part!!

My favorite are her ghostwalker books, which I am up to date on. I have read two of the Carpathian's books and I enjoyed those. But I will take my time with that series because I have heard that they can a little repetitive if read one after the other.

message 28: by Kathrynn (new)

669573 Welcome Alathea! Nice to have you hear and look forward to reading your thoughts and comments about Ms Feehan's books.

I'll add a spoiler topic for folks to use if they want to talk about plot spoilers of her books. I have that in some other groups, but folks seemed to rarely use it. I'll give it a try here, though.

Welcome!

1359426 At last we have a CF group. I've been looking for it ever since joining GoodReads.

I've been a die-hard fan of CF since 2001 when I discovered her Carpathians in a local bookstore. I loved the covers and the blurbs, so I went for it...And I don't regret taking that plunge.

I'm with Julie on this one. If Feehan wrote it, I've read it. Even the two stand-alone Lair of the Lion and The Scarletti Curse which, IMO, are the weakest of her books.

I admit at falling behind on the Drake Sisters for a while, but I quickly made up to it, because I was dying to know what would happen in Turbulent Sea (one of my favorites) and made myself read the other books first.

I'm looking forward to Burning Wild later this year and the MMP release of Dark Curse. I'm a fan, but not so rabid that I'm not able to wait for a more economical book. I just have to steer clear of your reviews until I get to read it. ;)

message 26: by Jeckie (new)

Nophoto-f-25x33 Hello all!
I'm so glad there's a Feehan group! I'm new to Goodreads, so still feeling my way around. I fell in love with Feehan when I happened upon a copy of "Shadow Game" a couple years ago. Since then, I've been hooked! I've read all but one of the Carpathian series (that one I haven't been able to get my hands on, not because I've given up on them), read the Drakes, but come back to the Ghostwalkers as my favorites!

message 25: by Susan Kat (new)

1220922 Hi Kathryn,

Boy that is a very hard question. I would have to decide between Conspiracy Game, Deadly Game & Predatory Game.

I just LOVE the Norton TWins. But I love Jess Cahoun, too.

I think I gonna pick that order. #1,Jack Norton, #2 Ken Norton and only a smidge behind them is #3 Jess Calhoun,

Those are my favorites. :-)

message 24: by Kathrynn (last edited Jan 04, 2009 10:37AM) (new)

669573 Welcome everyone! I just finished "Murder Game" and it was wonderful.

Whose your favorite GhostWalker? Click here to post in the GhostWalker topic.

654555 I love the Ghostwalker series. I just started reading Murder Game last night and as I was putting my book on my shelf I found this group. I am Kim and I live in San Antonio, TX.

883725 Thanks for the invite Kathrynn. I have several CF books on my TBR list, but I haven't read any yet. Glad to see I'm not the only one.;-) I'll probably start with the Carpathians, but the Ghost Walkers and others sound very intriguing. I'm looking forward to trying them out soon.

message 21: by Nikki (new)

1120281 Hi all,
I actually have not read any of her books as of yet. I just picked up Dark Prince to start that series. I'm guessing I will like it since I have similar tastes with a lot of you.
Thanks for the invite Kathrynn.

1310564 Thanks for the invite, Kathrynn!

I haven’t read a lot of Feehan’s books but the ones I have read have been addicting and I plan to continue working through the back list. I’ve read the first 2 in the Dark Hunters Series and randomly, #15. Normally I hate reading out of order, but sometimes it happens.

Great group, by the way! I like how you've listed all the books for each of the series in order. I would definitely use those posts for future reference!

message 19: by Melissab (new)

1320046 I am a big fan of Christine Feehan. Dark Magic was my first paranormal romance book ever, so she is the one who made me a big fan of the genre. I have read every single Dark book and still wait impatiently for the next one.

I like her Ghostwalkers series, Conspiracy Game and Deadly Game (the Norton twins) are my favorites.

I still have a few Drake sisters books to read, I don't like these as much because I find the pace too slow.

I enjoyed her Shapeshifter books such as Wild Rain. She has a new one coming out soon called Burning Wild. I read her historicals a long time ago but don't really remember them.

message 18: by Ally (new)

990135 I fell back in March 2008 and have read nearly everything she's written and enjoy her writing so much she's one of my fave authours. And I'm really excited about what she's releasing for 2009! I love her Dark Series, partly as it was the first one I got into but also because they are so well written and I can't wait for Burning Wild in April!

message 17: by Jill (new)

177227 I became a Feehan fan last year and have read all of the Ghost Walker and Carpathian series. I'm reading the latest Ghost Walker, Murder Game now. Love it! It may become my favorite of the series.

Thanks for the invite Kathryn.

message 16: by Susan Kat (new)

1220922 I forgot to put the name of the first book of Ghostwalker series. It is Shadow Game.

message 15: by Susan Kat (new)

1220922 Oh My Auntee.. you will love the Norton Twins. The Norton twins are from her Ghostwalker series. The first book I enjoyed a lot. It was a little slow but I still enjoyed it, cause I love the H&H and their chemistry. The second book, Mind Game, I loved! I didn't feel it slow really at all. Her 3rd book of Ghostwalker series is Night Game, wasn't my cup of tea cause I am not the H&H, although it was a good story. I enjoyed the secondary characters I enjoyed, too. THEN.. the 4th book!! Conspiracy Game.. YOUWZER!! OMG.. That book was just a fantastic read from beginning to end!! That is Jack Norton's book. He and the heroine, Briony, have great chemistry and the book is omg.. one of my top favorites of all. THen the 5th book, Deadly GAme, is Jack Norton's story and I didn't think I love a Ghostwalker book better than Conspiracy Game but I think Deadly GAme is either tied or above Conspiracy Game. Next is Predatory Game. This has been toted as not as much action as the previous. And has been talked about as it focusing more on the relationship than the action. I was all for that. And when I read it. I hardly noticed if there was less action. I was completely taken in from all the chemistry and heat between H&H. So I guess there was a little less action in this book but I don't really notice it. If there is less action it is only in the beginning of the book. Cause the action opens up in the middle and the end.

So..that is my take on the fabulous Ghostwalker series by Christine Feehan. Out of all the series I've read by tons of authors, this series is in my top 3, of all time.

But if you find the first story slow for you. Just either skip to the next book of series or stick to it. Cause you will be so rewarded!!

message 14: by Auntee (new)

886675 Okay, how many books do I have to wade through before they appear...2,3?

882708 oh Auntee, they're Ghostwalker twins...and WAY hot!!
