Do you believe the author’s premise that our environment determines how much we eat?

Yes, and his research makes me feel very responsible for the environment I create for my husband and kids since I'm the chef (I cook it), waitress (I dish it) and menu planner (I plan it)! I am now more aware of what I can do to help prevent as much mindless eating for all of us. I need to stock up on saucers :)

I like your post Stephanie, I thought about the plates in my cupboard, my small plates are pretty big. Those would be sufficient for our meals!

Oh totally! I think you definitely eat and drink more with more people!! If you have candy on the counter, you tend to eat a piece ...if you have fruit on the counter, you eat an apple!
