Harrison Davies (harrisondavies) | 29 comments Hi there,

I'm Harrison, and I hail from Newcastle upon Tyne in the UK. I'm 38, and live with my long time partner and our animals. An African Grey Parrot named Oliver, and a Staffordshire Bull terrier we rescued, called Patch.

I started writing Destiny back in 2009 and had to put it on hold for a year and returned to it in mid-2010.

My interests are varied, but aside from writing, I enjoy filmmaking, reading (lots), and photography.

Like all new authors, I have a routine job that I work hard at, and don't consider to be my real job, which is writing.

Some people ask me why I began to write and the answer is simple. I needed a way to express myself creatively in a new form other than my photography, and as such Destiny was born.

There is more information about me on my website here, and feel free to add me to Twitter.

Thanks for stopping by.
