This is my first historical novel, a genre I never read, but I'm fascinated with Hawaii, and so far this book hasn't disappointed me. :)

No. Its about a young girl, Rachel, who is infected with leprosy, an is forced to move to a leper colony, Moloka'i, it shows her journey from a child to an adult.
