Personal Memoirs Ulysses S. GrantUlysses S. Grant

Info:
The Personal Memoirs of Ulysses S. Grant is an autobiography of American President Ulysses S. Grant, focused mainly on the general's actions during the American Civil War. Written as Grant was dying of throat cancer in 1885, it was published by Mark Twain shortly after Grant's death. The memoirs were a financial and critical success and are still praised for their high literary qualities.

For this prologue, I think it demonstrates his opposing views of the Mexican War. Pretty bold and honest.

Bentley | 19956 comments This is a great bibliography and the type of bibliography that every moderator should put together for their non fiction books.
