I recently released Love through the Eyes of an Idiot A True Story of Finding the Secret of Love, Sex, and Romance. I haven't yet marketed it as a Christian book, but because I grew up as a pastor's kid, my story reflects strong, Christian values.
I also write online regularly (see http://blog.JTimothyKing.com/ as well as my main website), and I have several possible ideas in the works for my next project.

Hi, I am currently working on a sort of anthology of Biblical thoughts collected over 24 years of pastoring/teaching. I title it "Jots and Tittles - A closer look at the Bible through the Eyes of an Evangelical" I also taught Koine Greek and classical Hebrew in Western PA. which makes my book full of this kind of stuff. I also thought of the sub title Gems from the Languages of the Bible. I am obviously not good at this but I love to read and write. The chapter titles and annotations give it away.
What's in a Name is an example where an otherwise obvious meaning is overlooked because of the translation.
Apples and Oranges takes a closer look at words and their meanings to discover how different they are used here than in other works of literature.
Awakened from a Sound Sleep observes what appears to be a spike in our Lord's emotional response to a situation—taking a closer look at how He must have felt by observing His reaction. Jesus' feelings are often hidden, from a casual reading, in the context.
Impossible! challenges human logic. It is an example of the Salvation story which shows it couldn't have been man-dreamed.
Perfect! takes an exciting look at the meaning of a word in its historical setting. Greek like any language is constantly evolving and simplifying. We observe it here when its use exemplifies why God made it the language of choice for the New Testament.
Whose Fault is it? looks at the theological meaning of Scripture. It is an example of Pauline verses Scribal interpretation which clarifies why he was so hated by Jewry in his day.
Jot That Down takes a look at words whose meaning can be radically changed sometimes by removing or adding the smallest mark.
Sin? I'll Drink to That! Takes a closer—and perhaps surprising—look at what the Bible calls sin.
I Can’t Say That in Greek shows the difficulty in saying something in another language. What did Paul or Jesus do when they wanted to quote the Old Testament, the Tanakh, if you are Jewish, and they had to say it in Greek?
Thy Speech Bewrayeth Thee looks at Hebraisms or Semitisms—a kind of Hebrew written in Greek—in the New Testament. After all, The New Testament writers were Jewish for the most part. And yes, bewrayeth is the word in the King James Bible. It means or meant “to disclose or betray.” It is archaic but makes a great chapter title.
I Can't Believe You Said That! takes a passage at face value and shows, though it isn't immediately obvious, that it works that way.
Let Me Underline That takes a close look at the use of emphasis. The order of words in a sentence should not be overlooked.
A Particle Of Truth looks at exclamatory words or so called particles of excitement which may or may not translate into English. Every language, I doubt not, has them.
And ... And What! is controversial but worth a closer look. It is an example of the power of just one word, the word and or if you prefer the word the.
December 21,2012 is a brief look at a doctrine that consumed Christian thought for generations before it was considered not important enough to discuss anymore. Go figure!
Sign Here, Please takes a look at words or phrases peculiar to one writer. Some words and thoughts are clearly a signature of sorts.
Threads takes a look at the development of a Biblical idea or truth. We might even call this a progressive revelation.
Psychological Insight takes the nine fold ministry and ties them to the nine gifts of the Spirit suggesting a organized approach to ministry.
Soteriology is the study of Salvation. Here we take a close look at the Biblical words that are used to detail the plan of salvation by applying the discoveries of the previous chapters. Note that the Greek language in and of itself isn't sufficient to explain all.
I Want to Speak in Tongues takes a look at the failure of our current language to describe the gloriousness of a Heaven we joyfully anticipate.

Hi, I searched for my purpose in life and felt led to teach in an inner-city high school. I loved it! I loved my students, and my job. But eventually the stress of dealing with gangs, shootings, murders, riots, abusive principals, became too much. I wondered why God led me there, only to have me deal with so many obstacles to teaching that I had to leave because of the stress? And then I figured it out. The answer to the purpose of it all in my life. Dramatic & inspirational. No Child Left Behind? The True Story of a Teacher's Quest
Hi,
I am new to this group. I am the author of The Leaf, a christian fiction book.
About the book (The Leaf):
In the beautiful land of Bellager a young boy named David shares a passion for leaf collecting. During his childhood years his grandfather Edward shares an interesting set of stories about Bellager's history. While many believe the stories are created by Edward's great imagination, Edward believes them as true.
As David grows into a young man, an unexpected enemy rises from the past. Evil forces invade the once peaceful land. David and his dear friends: Jonathan, Peter and Grace go on a quest in search for a miraculous leaf and the Great Tree of Wisdom that his grandfather had mentioned in his stories. It is this unique leaf that gives the people the hope of restoring peace in Bellager.
Blessings,
Jo-Ann

Hi, I am Marcie from Ohio. I am working on a fiction book that draws on the stories of my ancestors but takes liberty in creating redemption and understanding among the characters. It takes place in the 50's in a small Oklahoma town.
My other book is about DNA and moral responsibility in relation to fallen man. I'm just starting this one and I hope to make it a suspense thriller.
Thanks for asking! Are you working on anything?

Hi Susan, Thanks for the Congrats about Focus on the Family contacting me about a possible broadcast about my book. That is my first book, non-fiction, for Christian dads raising boys. It started just as a journal to leave my kids and grandkids, about a canoe trip I did when I was 19, paddling the entire length of the Missouri River, all 2,500 miles. Over 3 years of writing, it changed into a book for dads with lots of great scripture on fatherhood, but still has the story of that 1979 journey, but also a 3 day trip in MT that i did with my 2 sons in 2002. Lots of spiritual warfare, wilderness adventure, military training, and even lewis and Clark history. Met a woman at a booksigning who said her husband would never read a parenting book but is almost done with mine and has been a blessing. So pretty neat to hear that. I am now almost doen with my first attempt at fiction. I drive by old cabins and homesteads here in Colorado all the time and that inspired a love story that transcends time. Its a story about a 17 yr old snowboarder in 2009 and a 16 yr old Christian girl who is travelling with her family over the Oregon Trail who find each other alone on the WY prairie and spend 3 days together. The time they spend together has an impact not onlly on them, but when they return to their own times, they impact others in an incredible way, proving Romans 8:28 is true and timeless. Really enjoying writing it. 15 months into it right now.
