Couldn't find any Debbie Macomber Christmas books that I hadn't already read. So, I grabbed #15 in the Elm Creek Quilters series, A Quilter's Holiday, thinking it would be a Christmas book. It's not.

You're so right. She writes wonderful Christmas books. I recently finished reading "Cindy and the Prince" by Debbie Macomber. I loved it.

Ok, that does it. I've been debating on whether to run to the library for the next JA Jance book, but now I've got to go see if they have any Debbie Macomber Cmas books I haven't read.
I have not started the Angels series yet as my mom has it right now, I may have to save that series for next Christmas.

I finished A Cedar Cove Christmas a few days ago and I thought it was very good. :)
Im glad that love has a way of finding 2 people!
Im reading Angels at Christmas by Debbie Macomber ~ I love her Angels series!
I just finished The Perfect Christmas and really liked it, but I can honestly say I have liked all of Debbie's books that I have read.
I started A Cedar Cove Christmas a few days ago, and Im really enjoying it! Its written very nicely with references to the 3 Wise Men story from the Bible.

Now,..I want to read 92 Pacific Boulevard, and A Cedar Cove Christmas!
Just picked up a new reissue of Debbie's. Fairy Tale Weddings Cindy and the Prince\Some Kind of Wonderful has two stories that Debbie wrote over 20 years ago and they are dusting them off and bringing them out again. I have it marked on my list that I have read Some Kind of Wonderful but I really don't remember it from "the blurb". This is one thing I don't like about Debbie's publishers--bringing out a new book with several of Debbie's older works in it. You don't know until you receive it (from the library) that you have read all or part of it.

Have a Great Thanksgiving Denise!
Morning Comes Softly was a really good book as was Twenty Wishes, The Perfect Christmas, well not so much. The whole Cedar Cove series is good--including the new one, 92 Pacific Boulevard, which I have read. I hope all of you enjoy your new Macomber books!

I have 92 Pacific Blvd too just havent gotten to it yet. I know it will be a long time before the next one comes out so I am trying to make it last a bit before I read it!
~ I bought 92 Pacific Boulevard..but I havent started it yet. Im reading Morning Comes Softly, and also want to start reading The Perfect Christmas this weekend.
:-) Yes, Rayni, I agree with you on that one :-) ... I am reading The Guersney Literary and Potato Peel Society, and absolutely loving it!! I finished reading the Promise Texas Series. I highly recommend it, esp if you enjoyed the Dakota series, but I am not a big fan of Return to Promise ... :-) .... Also reading the collected short stories of Lucy Maud Montgomery :-) ... and thinking about reading Summer on Blossom Street next, loved 92!!! :-)
Im reading Back on Blossom Street, Im really liking it! Ive read all the other books in this series including Twenty Wishes..great series!!
I'm reading the shop on blossom street. found summer on blossom street in the library, didn't realise it was part of a seris so have now started at the beginning..
OK, I finished Quilter's Apprentice after the encouragement I received here. I had checked it out from the library 3 times. I checked out the next book in that series Round Robin & could have read it in one sitting, it is fantastic. I give it 5 stars because it's like a series of short stories & she tells about each of the Elm Creek Quilters & then weaves it together - fantastic read. On the other hand it is a book that could be picked up & put down after each story.

Im going to plan on reading the other books in the Quilters Apprentice series also! Great book!
Hi Rayni, do try and read Quilter's Apprentice, it was an enjoyable read, I am looking into buying the other books in the series :-), I am looking forward to the next Cedar Cove book, and nowadays, I am reading A Suitable Boy, by Vikram Seth. Happy reading to everyone!
I actually have finished Summer on Blossom Street now and I loved it just as much as I did the others. I will say though that I did get a little choked up reading this one.
Summer on Blossom Street. I couldn't resist it any longer even tho it wasn't on top of my TBR pile. It is so good. Some of it is predictable but still good.
I just started reading The Incantation by Alice Hoffman.Summer On Blossom Street is on my bedside table & will be read soon.
Rayni wrote: "Macomber's Summer on Blossom Street, just found it at the library as well as a new Anne Perry book in the William Monk series. Trying to read Quilters Apprentice by Jennifer Chaverinni (sp?) mm, ca..."Im reading
The Quilter's Apprentice ~ I have put it down and gone back to it..hang in there~ I think its pretty good..
Macomber's Summer on Blossom Street, just found it at the library as well as a new Anne Perry book in the William Monk series. Trying to read Quilters Apprentice by Jennifer Chaverinni (sp?) mm, can't spell it. I've tried to read this book so many times, I'm just gonna pick up where I left off & go from there. She has 12 books in the series & I can't even get past the first one, ack!
Just finished Turtle Moon by Alice Hoffman. Now it's onto Cross Country by James Patterson.
I have The Friday Knitting Club on my TBR pile too. It looks good!
Melissa wrote: "Ive got Friday Night Knitting club on my "wish list"..
I havent read The Diary yet..
Is it good?
I'm going to start The Diary this weekend - two patrons at work said they could not get into it, another two said it was good - Debbie Macomber endorsed it - I'll let you know....
OK - call me a moron - I just looked at the dates on the posts and thought the one at the top was the newest - oops! Friday Night Knitting Club is old news to you guys. Sorry!
I've heard that "Friday Night Knitting Club" is good - my aunt's bookclub did it for discussion - she usually does not care for that type of book (her words)but really liked this one. Kate Jacobs has another new book out, but I don't think its part of the knitting series. (I work in a library, and I can and do get into a lot of trouble with everything I bring home!)
Love the Angel series - haven't heard anything about that one yet.
Has anyone read "The Diary" by Eileen Goudge yet?
Im reading Twenty Wishes and Married In Seattle First Comes Marriage\Wanted Perfect Partner -- both are really good!

Hello. Right now I am reading "The Friday Night Knitting Club". I am really enjoying this book. It kind of reminds of the Debbie Macomber books. I am hoping to get it done before Christmas because the second book to this one "Knit Two" just came out and I put it on my Christmas list.
