Last week (or two weeks ago, whenever it was the last week of Winter Break) I read Alabama moon for the first time. This was a book that was on my seventh grade CYRM along with Wednesday Wars and Blood on the River. You were only obligated to read two of the three for my teacher, and I hadn't chose Alabama Moon. I must say, I am kind of regretting not reading it any sooner. The book was about a kid named Moon if I remember correctly, and him and his father live in the villages, but sadly, his father had just died. Moon and his father were going to travel to Alaska and live there, but since his dad died, Moon was going on the adventure all by himself. There are a lot of road bumps in Moon's adventure including police. This book is a high suspence book and should be read by everyone. Personally, I consider this book a book that can be compared to the amazing Hunger Games.

so what you are saying is that the most interesting book you have read was the hunger games? because in my opinion the hunger games was a pretty good series but not the best book, for me there are multiple series and books that are just fantastic.

Good for you, Brandon! I'm trying my darndest to promote CYRM and I'm glad to hear your middle school teacher made you read those. Remember, you can vote on ANY category for this year's nominees; we've got all of the YA category, but only 2 of the 3 middle school. I'm still working on it! By the way, "Alabama Moon" has been on my "list" for quite some time! Glad to hear you liked it!
