I don't understand Blythe. Is the challenge to read a book that fits each of these topics?

Jessica | 230 comments Mod
The title of the book has to meet each description ie:
1. A book with a food in the title
2. A book with a number in the title
etc etc

Patricia (PG4003) | 72 comments Mod
Oh, very interesting, I like that idea! We could just keep the list and update it during the year or something like that. Is that what you had in mind?

So, would "Almost Heaven" fit the "foreign place" category? :D If "yes", then out of the 3 1/2 books I've read so far, 3 will fit.

Foreign Place: Almost HEAVEN

This is kind of fun!

Go for it, Carime. I usually don't set goals or do challenges. This is my first one! However, I found that laying the books out actually helps me read faster!

I'm going to have a heck of a time with the "insect" category!! I've been through about 500 of my TBRs and can't find ONE!! I may even have to *GASP* BUY a book!!

Have you read The Secret Life of Bee? It's a great book. I borrowed it from the library, unfortunately last year. There's also Fireflies in December, which is free for Prime Amazon members and James Patterson;s, Along Comes A Spider.

Teri Pre | 425 comments Mod
Thanks Kathryn, I read Fireflies in December last year and Along Came a Spider when it first came out. I haven't read "Bees" but I don't have Prime...sigh...

Ah HA! You made me think about butterflies and I find that I have "The Butterfly Effect"! Thanks!!

Whoo Hoo!!! Done!!! This was a fun challenge! I had a really hard time with finding a decent book for musical instrument and insect but I'm finally done!! I'll be doing this one again next year as it gets a lot of books off of my TBR list!

Musical instrument has been a tricky one for me too, but I downloaded a freebie yesterday called The Violin Man's Legacy. It sounds interesting, so I think I'll give it a go.

Teri Pre | 425 comments Mod
That was the main reason I bought "The Secret Piano". It sounded good and was a cheap one. Glad I did. It was a pretty good read.
