I sent a post back Lori saying sorry, I wonder where it went?! Now you see where the [oldgeezer:] comes from! All the best, suitably chastised, Paul Rix.

fair do's, but I had nothing to do with 'Isaac Brock' I think it is probably the best book I have read and as a Canadian I think Kristilyn would really enjoy it. It would give her a nice warm inner glow, Alberta at this time of year is a bit chilly! However, slapped wrist accepted. All the very best, Paul Rix old[duely slapped:]geezer.

Hi Yas, I'm from the uk as well, been to 30 or so different countries, some were, I'll admit, great, but I was always glad to get home, I still think it is one of the best places to be for all it's faults.
I'm an author by the way, but I can't recommend my current book to you as it is very non-pc and the main character is often in conflict with 'legal eagles'. If you are brave enough, give it a look, it is called 'The Day The Ravens Died'but don't say I didn't warn you. I write under the name Timothy Pilgrim. all the best Paul Rix [oldgeezer177@yahoo.co.uk:]

Let me know what you think [oldgeezer177@yahoo.co.uk:]

Hello! I am looking forward to getting out of the proverbial "reading rut" here. Favorite genres -- classics, adventure, historical fiction. Currently reading Villette, by Charlotte Bronte.
hi,I'm Nicole and I like alot of things, including books very much and cats. I like to shop... no LOVE to shop and I like to play softball (17 and under) um.. that's about it.
Vickie, you dont have to be spell binding... but I am happy to hear that this group is influencing your book purchases and given you endless ideas....
Yay for that :)
Hi everyone--I've lurked for about 2 mos and made a few comments here and there, but am not active. As to #391-people comment when they have something to say. I'd rather that than endless pointless remarks just to make a quota. I love this group because I have gotten many great reading ideas. I just don't have anything really spell-binding to say very often. :)
Good job, Lori!!
PS just bought another bookcase for my "TBR" All you guys' fault.
Hello everyone,
I just joined the other day am looking forward to reading along with the group and reading out of my comfort zone usually mysteries/thrillers and sci-fi!
Tammie, I am not sure who you are referring to in your post. Who is unhappy about everyone not posting?
yeah and some of us has a life we can not spend all day and night on the comp cause one member is unhappy about all of us not posting. lori you right to you can not take time to remove people you have a life to what does that girl want from this group?
Hi everyone! I joined this group to discover new books and authors. To answer the questions above yes I spend my spare cash on books and yes I always buy more than I can carry when I only went for one. OMG I just bought a second bookcase for my books and its already full. I guess its back to target for another. LOL! =)

Hello! I'm new to online groups, but excited to expand my horizons a bit. Particularly in the interest of finding new books! I'm a life-long lover of books by nature. My reading tastes are pretty diverse, but still somehow manage to drastically differ than many of my friends'! I'm trying out a few different groups with the desire of finding something that allows me to explore new titles and enjoy some great discussions!
hi. i'm not brand new to Good Reads, but am new to this group. i've been looking around trying to find the reading or book oriented group that is right for me. there's s00000 many.
Hi, my name is Chris and I am new to goodreads. I'm from Queensland, Australia and am pretty excited about a website dedicated to reading. I'm open to any suggestions for 'the next best book'
I am on my way to work. I try to check in before I leave in the AM..... just to see what happened when I was catching some Zzzzz's :)
Lenalee, Welcome to the group. this is an adult forum, where we discuss books. We do not roleplay here. But to answer your question, no -- we do not have any topics discussing Warriors.
Hi everybody, just wanted to say hi. I'm from central Illinois; I'm 34 years old; I love love love to read. This group looks pretty active, pretty cool so I thought I'd give it a try. Thanks! :)
Hi Newbies!!! Welcome to the group! Hope you like it here as much as I do! Your TBR pile is going to grow out of control!!! Happy Reading!
I've been following this group and playing the the fun games for a while, but I've been too much of a weenie to introduce myself. So I just wanted to say Hi! I live in Birmingham, AL and am always looking for a great read. I've gotten tons of ideas from this group, so thank you all!
Hey guys
Just thought I should introduce myself too! Im Yassemin, Im 21 and from the UK (unfortunately!!). I'm currently a law student..so as you might imagine read a lot of books..not necessarily interesting ones lol.
In my spare time though I love to read like all of us on here, a variety of things; crime, historical, horror and classics. Nice to meet you all!
Yes. All kinds of people with all different reading interests can come here and share their thoughts. It's great!
Hi! My name is Safia. I live in Raleigh, North Carolina. I'm not a Southerner though. I've previously lived in Washington, Minnesota, South Dakota, & New York. My passion to read is one thing that never changes.
Hello!I just made a few posts on other topics, but feel I should introduce myself. :-)
My name is Kristilyn, I'm a singer-songwriter from Alberta, Canada (http://www.tiny.cc/). I love to read, make music, cook, watch movies, and just hang out with my husband and our animals (2 dogs, 2 cats).
Currently, I've been trying to read everything I have in my home library, but the piles just keep getting bigger! (Whoever made VISA work so well with Amazon.ca must be a rich person! Unfortunately, this scenario has made me without funds.)
Living in Canada, where winter come for about 8 months of the year, there is a lot of good time to read, in front of the fireplace, curled up with a cat. Now, if I could only get the husband to stop playing Family Guy in the background, I'd be a happy camper.
Happy to be a part of the group!
