I read this book and although I believe in Cesar's methods, he really didn't offer much up in the way of training advice.
I continually found myself asking the same question - okay, so how do I do that? And never really discovered the answer.
I'm now onto his second book - Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan. The ultimate episode guide. So far, I'm liking it.
I know what you mean... I found myself thinking the same thing when I read Ceasar's Way. However, I soon discovered that the simplicity of establishing yourself as pack leader solves all those other training issues. If you need specicfic examples and haven't watched his show you should try that... If you (like me) don't get the channel it's on, try your library to borrow the dvd.Gail wrote: "I read this book and although I believe in Cesar's methods, he really didn't offer much up in the way of training advice.

If you have a good look at Cesar's way with dogs, he advises that one reads other books on training. His speciality is helping problem dogs and although he probably knows a lot about training, he feels people keen on training dogs should read other specialists on it ... have you ever heard of "clicker-training"? Amazing way of bonding with your dog! It's certainly one up on running around with treats all the time.
