Rule clarifications:(tomorrow will do this)

Goodreads ratings:How to find the Goodreads ratings for your book
-click on MyBooks
-select 'to read' from the list on the left
-look along the top to see if Num ratings is displayed
-if not scroll to bottom of page
-look at the second box along which has 'sort' on its left hand side
-from the scroll down menu select 'num ratings'
-your tbr now shows you a column for the number of ratings your book has from zero upwards
-now select a book which has less than 3000 under this column heading

NB You use the same steps to get:
date published(date pub)
date added
number of pages(num pages)

Finding your friends list:
-go along top of page and on the right of the envelope logo is a faint silhouette of two heads
-click on this logo to show your friends list
-select a friend by clicking on their name
-on their 'read' list, look for books you would like to read that are either rated 1-3 stars, or 4-5 stars
-repeat with various friends until you get something you want to read

NB some people separate their books into different categories depending on star ratings so look for that to speed up your search
