its pretty! and very different from the Study series, do you think Mira was doing that on purpose or just how they chose to lay it out?
Yay! I have librarian status, so I updated the cover. 
You'll now see the cover on your GoodReads! Maria will be at Harlequin HQ this week, so wish her luck esp. you Angelenos who want to see her in person next Spring!
Lexie and all you guys in or near the PA area who are already close by, you lucky ducks! If you get to see her, I want pictures ^_^
wait wait what Alethea? where's Harlequin HQ? And hopefully my friend and I will be making it to her Delaware presentation (we be wanting to drive the hour and half or so to get to it--good excuse to run away from the boys XD ).

Harlequin's main office is in Toronto, Canada. *fingers crossed* she's trying to get them to officially send her to L.A. for a book launch party at my store! If I could fly her here myself, I would. In fact, if they say no, I may undertake some serious fundraising. Just a thought.
oh phew Alethea you had me thinking the HQ was near me in PA! I was about to go storm Pensy to find it I have a photo from meeting Maria before Fire Study came out, if anyone would like to see it (and Maria is okay with me posting it here of course).
also I was gonna try to ninja pictures from next week's speaking engagement--with her permission, I'm a courteous ninja after all--and give a quick write up about it if anyone was interested.

Then September 2009 for SEA GLASS - also final :)
INSIDE OUT is tenative for early 2010 (Jan to March).

HAHA! OOOh! I like it! That would be sweet! I even have the perfect glass ball to go with...well it's not actually glass, its plastic, but it has pretty sparkly glitter on the inside! :D

Alethea I'm not close to LA but If you need funds to get her to you just let me know, I'm sure some others would be happy to help also, you just cant have enough of her hehe

I could maybe buy an outfit.. I couldn't make one.. no way no how... literally. I have no sewing machine and no skill other than sewing buttons.

That's what I say whenever my fiance says "So..." in that annoying way. He thought it was cute the first few times.. not so much anymore. But.. now he doesn't say "So" as much.

Storm Glass is the first in the Glass series. Fire Study is the third book in the Study series. Inside Out is not a familiar title.
I thought I read somewhere that MVS was writing three books for the Glass series...but i'm not really sure

I think it is a short story but don't hold me to that I just cant really remember, if its not a short story then its a story to itself.

The Glass series will have at least 3 books I don't know if there will be any more.
ok and i think Inside Out is just MVS' first YA novel so I don't think its related to the Glass series

I like the new cover. I think it looks cleaner. And now I can tell she's holding the orb behind her back.
Can someone with librarian status add the new cover on GR? (I know, Alethea! I haven't "applied" for status yet. Too lazy.)
Interesting, I wonder what framing they are going to use? The zoomed out one or the more tightly cropped one? I guess we'll see soon enough!

Good info! Thanks, Reema!I have to say, as the cover models go, the one they got for Opal looks pretty hot ^_^ although that was not how I imagined her at all!
I like how it matches the Study series and that it says it's an Opal Cowan novel. Someone who's unfamiliar with the books will see that and probably figure out it's part of a series.
