1665292 My name is Phyllis Montana-Leblanc. I was featured in Spike Lee's HBO Film Documentary; "When The Levees Broke." I have since had a book published through SimonandSchuster,NY. My agent is William-Morris Talent Agency,NY. My book: "Not Just The Levees Broke" My Story During and After Hurricane Katrina." Forword by: Spike Lee. It's amazing what has happened since doing the documentary because a lot of people said I made them or helped them to laugh through the pain of experiencing Hurricane Katrina. I have always said to myself; "it wasn't funny when it happened." But I do get it, and in life I've learned that for the most part, laughter is the best medicine, especially when you run out of Xanax and your doctor won't give you a refill. I have to say, that I am glad to have found goodreads. I feel right at home already. Gotta go right now. Early day, working on next manuscript. I also have a myspace: http://www.myspace.com/phyllismleblanc Peace.

1575989 Phyllis,

I watched you on When the Levees Broke, and you are quite a character. I love your personality. Much Success in all that you do. If you get a chance, check out my debut novel, Chante's Song.
