I'm trying to pick my favs, Sashana. In order: Snow White, Belle, Jasmine, & then Cinderella. I might like Tangled - but I haven't heard that song or seen the movie yet. I may have to watch that soon.
I think I will do that today, Gemma. I need a break from books. I've been a reading fiend this month b/c I'm doing the "All About You" challenge and this is the month for pushing to a higher monthly book count. Too much pressure!
A break from books?! I often find I need to take time out from life to make more time for books (:

Went on a bit of a movie binge last night. LOVED Tangled. Mother Gothel is so awful, I don't know if I can watch her part again. I might have to skip through her. I image, anyone who had their child kidnapped would have difficulty with that movie. Then had to watch Big Miracle which I also liked a lot. Then onto Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. 
I did, Midu! It was the best of the three. I liked the last two equally, but I did fall asleep during SH and had to finish it this morning. I must admit, some parts were better than others.
yeah, not everybody likes the new SH movies. my cousins seem to think they have too much action but i told em in the books, Holmes knew a lotta fighting styles, he just didn't choose to act on them much
You are right, Midu! I've read SH - and he does. I actually LOVE the first movie. This one was good, too.
Love the picture, Midu (as usual!). I think Mother Gothel made a great villan. Love it when she sings her mother knows best song. *hums*
I didn't like the SH movie either. I haven't read any of the books though so I have nothing to compare it to.
There were parts of the SH that were good, but parts that dragged for me. Obviously, as it put me to sleep. I rarely to never fall asleep watching a movie. (Only have working a double shift, if then.)
Glad you enjoyed it Lisa! I must say I very much enjoy the new Sherlock Holmes films, but I also very much enjoy Robert Downey Jr, so that does help! :D
Oh, I liked it, Gemma. I ♥ RDJ and I think he actually gets better looking with age. And we all know he can act. The chemistry between JL & RDJ is great, too. I don't think the stars were the problem. Not sure if it was directing, storyline or editing.
Saw this on pinterest.com and wasn't sure if it was already posted on here, but I thought I would share. 
Well, we all have at least four; thanks to the Lunar Chronicles. <3Even though the first book is the only book that's realeased at the moment... good thing you can take as long as you like to complete this challenge!

Lisa Kay, I could never possibly make my mom watch any animated movies! EVER! And here you are, loving Tangled! It's nice to know that I won't be the only one someday :D! Oh, I love Tangled. I might watch it again today....
She has no imagination. I mean it. I love her, she's the best mom to me, but the imagination - I didn't get from her.

Drama, serious stuff mostly. Comedies too, but we (both) are picky about what's funny and what not. But fantasy is definitely not her genre. Neither are animated movies.The fun part is that I can talk as much as I would want to about the latest animated movie I fell in love with, whether Disney/Dreamworks, or pretty much any Studio Ghibli movie, and she enjoys listening to me, but she would never watch them :D.
