996860 Stacy, if you like Hugh Grant, you can also try Music & Lyrics. I found it a very fun watch. Threw me back to the 70's and 80's immediately, and although I was young in the 70's (LOL) I still remember enough to appreciate it when I see it portrayed in movies.

1101768 Laura, I hope you enjoy Once. It's one of my favorite movies. I think I did have to turn the subtitles on for parts of it because of the accents but it's such a thoughtful love story....more romantic than comedic though & the music is great.

27 Dresses is a cute movie too. :)

1394928 More romantic than comedic is absolutely fine. Thanks, Hannah, I'm looking forward to it!

688928 I just watched 27 Dresses the other day. Loved it! The only thing about that movie that bugged me though was that the DVD was defective during the part where they're singing Benny and the Jets. This is a brand new DVD. My son's girlfriend just bought it for me at Target and that was the first time it was opened and watched. That's never happend to me with a brand new DVD. It's happened lots with DVDs from Blockbuster of the library. I'm going to see if she still has the receipt and mayber I can take it back and get a replacement copy.

165389 Beth, thats a good idea. Try wiping the DVD off with a soft cloth but if this doesn't work just take it back to them and ask for another one. Getting defective products is not as uncommon as you would think. I've seen books where you open it and one page is randomly upside down and CD's/DVD's that just don't play.

Good luck, it would be a shame to have a defective disk for such a cute movie! Especially in that crucial scene.... ;-)

688928 Hi Sonja, I just remembered that my oldest son has a disk cleaner so I'm going to try that. I could tell, through all the dragging, jumping and stopping the disk was doing, that the Benny and the Jets part was good! I can't wait to watch it again.
