"Faith can move mountains, but denial can make them disappear." One from my book. I had 150 quotes like that - all original - from Ancient Canada at the end of the book (with chapter and page references). It was going to be sort of an appendix, but it was a little clumsy and we left it out in the end.
But I've had a chance to work them (and new quotes) into fables, which are free - new ones added regularly - at http://ancientcanada.com. There's also a quotes tab on the site.
Got a few more I'd like to add...
Ancient Canada
Neither the martyr nor the violent sociopath has the approval of society. The one difference is, with the violent sociopath, it is mutual. -The LichenAncient Canada
Arguing is miserable, but a delight compared to allowing a fool voice an unchallenged opinion. -Queen Erika of Svalbard(Not sure I personally believe this one, but Erika did)

To be vulnerable is to be approachable, but to embrace it is to be invincible. -Little AndyAncient Canada

Last one then I'll give up the mike. This is the one I'm most curious to hear thoughts on, so fire away! It's from another fable, but hasn't been posted yet on my site.Failure is a chance for sympathy to succeed, and success a chance for it to fail.
