This book will change your life. I mean it. We have sold or given away about 50% of what we owned a year ago, and we don't miss any of it. Gone is the clutter and over-stuffed closets, and with it the stress and fatigue of decisions (What shall I wear? Where do I put this bill I'm not yet ready to pay?Where do I put all the crap when visitors are expected?). Not to mention the guilt (it's a family heirloom, I HAVE to keep it). We have a small 2 bedroom condo with furniture that fits the space (hallelujah) and LOTS of space. Our friends have commented on how much more space there is. And the kitchen... is a dream to work in now.

We are giving away copies to friends for Christmas. I kid thee not.

It was a great book I thought. I've made 2008 the year of getting rid of things based on this book. That's a good idea of giving it for Christmas - with a note to pass the book on when they are ready!
