I have asked my guyfriends and they said they didn't read the book. When I was so addicted to it, I was trying to convince them to like it. I told them about the sweet, *shudder*, romance of Bella and Edward.

They looked at me like I was crazy and laughed. They said that it's kind of pretty stupid. Now that I have awaken from this horrible infatuation with the saga, I could see why.

I think I remember one of them saying why would a guy, Edward, fall for a whiny and VERY clingy brat like, Bella?

Actually, I do know a male fan of Twilight. (Amazing, ne?) While he has expressed his disbelief that I don't LURV the series, any and all arguments we've had were good-natured and never got intense. I guess that's the difference between fangirls and fanboys.

Our generation do not have the same high expectations when it comes to life, compared to the previous generations.
