1130679 I know when shows do 2-hour episodes they are always created to be broken up into 2 1-hour episodes later but that episode last night really wasn't what I'd classify as a 2-hour special, two related episodes yes.

Anyway, I was glad to see that Dell's daughter was relatively unscathed. Heather on the other hand....oh well. She was trouble anyway.

622853 SPOILERS---don't read until after you've watched last night's episode.

2547917 @Roxy, just went in search of that preview and I can't believe it!! I'm sure it'll be an excellent episode, but why can't Dell catch a break? Things were going so well for him :(

Can't wait to see it tomorrow! I usually don't want to stay up that late, but I might have to make an exception for this one.

message 257: by Roxy (new)

1130679 I just saw a preview for this weeks episode (2-hour?). Dell's house blows up?! Presumably with wife & daughter in it?!?!

message 256: by Roxy (new)

1130679 I agree about the kiss between Addison & umm, crap I can never remember his name. You know who I mean.

This was good. Surprising about Dell but they have been needing to something with him, he's been so whiney lately.

I was very surprised at the end when it turned out the boy made everything up! That sort of sucked because he seemed happy living with his dad, too.

message 255: by Holli (new)

622853 This was a good one! Dell got married..... and Cooper arrested... and Addison was the meddler this time. Good episode!

message 254: by Stephanie (new)

1768864 Yes, but I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't missing something.

Oh and Charlotte is right about Violet being a "meddler". I she cannot stay out of others business when her own is a mess! I wish Violet would go away for a long trip!

message 253: by Holli (new)

622853 I got out of that that they were trying it out for size and then realized they were just too good of friends.... no chemistry. Is that how it seemed to all of you too?

message 252: by Stephanie (new)

1768864 So the kiss at the end, what did it mean? Were they just trying it on for size? Or is there something there?

message 251: by Roxy (new)

1130679 True, true. And if they'd make it too real it would probably be down right boring. LOL

message 250: by Holli (last edited 17 days ago, 02:50PM) (new)

622853 That didn't bother me...... Its TV so i always expect to suspend my belief when I'm watching stuff. Its entertainment and so I allow for a little reality stretching for the sake of the story.... ;)

message 249: by Roxy (new)

1130679 It was good but the whole car accident was just a little too TV for me. Two doctors going for a walk in a remote are stumble across a car accident. one doctor's specialty is babies and what do you know....one person is preggers. Even one of the docs commented on not being able to figure out where the car came from.

message 248: by Holli (new)

622853 What a crazy episode this past week! I would go from laughing my ass off at Viagra man and then go to anxious and crying for the car accident people.... this was a good one!

message 247: by Holli (new)

622853 Addison has a cat... I love it!! I'm glad that Violet is getting back to normal....

message 246: by Roxy (new)

1130679 I thought we were also going to meet Addy's mom. I forget where I saw it but they wrote her name as Bizy or something like that when I thought Busy a name Addy & her bro gave her as kids because she was always "busy". No one ever said that, it was just what I guess from the name. Thought it was kind of funny if I do say so myself.

message 245: by Holli (new)

622853 TV Guide preview sweeps:

So you think things have been intense at Oceanside Wellness with Addison miserably single again and Violet just barely surviving having had her baby? Well just wait. According to exec producer things are about to go extreme for sweeps. "we're finally going to meet Addison's very Waspy dad, she says "and some old family skeletons are going to come out of the closet in a BIG way. Addison will also be confronted with a medical situation unlike anything we've ever shown. She'll be collaborating with Sam on that one. They will lean on each other". But its Pacific Well Care, not Oceanside Wellness, where some action really goes down. "A new doctor is helping out and there may be sparks between Naomi and him. Everyone will get a little lovin'!"

message 244: by Roxy (new)

1130679 I think Violets reaction to all of this is pretty "normal". just because she is a shrink for a leaving doesn't mean that when something horrific happens in her life she would get theropy too. She's human like everyone else. Someone is going to have to help push her towards it. I hope it is Sheldon who helps her do that. No one else seems like they want to touch her issue.

I was sort of bothered in last nights episode when whats-his-name got the surgeon-God-complex but then had a successfull surgergy!!! He hasn't operated, which exception of emergency previous week, in who knows how long and he just jumps in on a heart of a kid?!?! Did not like that at all. I think they should have brought some one in and shrink his damn ego!

message 243: by Teresa in Ohio (new)

2182384 If you watched Thursday, the speech she gave to the woman who was raped, is really what she is feeling. She does need some help and being in her field she should know this.

message 242: by Hannah (new)

1101768 Roxy,
I loved Bailey on the show too. She would be more fun on that show, I think, than Grey's.

So, will Noah come back into the picture?

I'm already a bit irritated with the baby situation too. Why is Violet not seeking therapy??

message 241: by Roxy (new)

1130679 Paternity solved. I'm slightly bummed, though.

Hurray for Bailey for pointing out Addison's track record and accusing her of acting like a tramp! Love Bailey.

message 240: by Holli (new)

622853 I really wish they would clear up the baby's paternity and move on from that. That needs to be solved and its becoming odd that they don't. I am glad that Violet recognized that she can't take care of the baby right now and I hope that she gets help so she can take him back.

message 239: by Roxy (new)

1130679 Rochiel, I think it was really brave and clear headed of her to give the baby to Pete. She could have hurt the baby or even given it to social services. Pete was a very smart option.

I'm not really liking the fact that Pete has staked his claim and pushing Sheldon out. We don't know for sure yet who is the father. Pete is being real pompos. I know Violet chose him to be the man in her life but the baby could still be Sheldon's. They may have to share. Pete needs to loosen his clutches until they find out if he is the father for sure.

message 238: by Rociel (new)

1674415 so i guess now we know, she gave the baby to Pete... i don't like this story line at all... WHHHHHHYYYYYYYYY??!??!!?!? i mean i guess we all understand what she was going through but after all of that, why would it come to this. Im thinking about not watching the next episode, im really frustrated... and it also seems as if next we are just going to have to blow it off... ugh... is you detected my frustration at all?? ugh

message 237: by Holli (new)

622853 Once again this show made me cry! I love it and I'm so involved with the characters... I truly like this one more than Grey's at times.

I'm glad Violet and the baby lived and I'm curious to see where they are going with the postpartum storyline......

message 236: by Rociel (new)

1674415 yeah why would she have post-pardum, i think that they are trying to lay out all of the possible reasons for us to have to tune in. But really i would watch if it wasnt so highly dramatically involved. I love the flashbacks, it really set the tone... i loved that!

message 235: by Hannah (new)

1101768 ***SPOILER ALERT***

I was going to be so disappointed if Violet or the baby died. After seeing the preview for next week, I can't believe she is possibly giving him up? Poor Violet looks rough....wonder what will happen.

message 234: by Roxy (new)

1130679 Oooo....Holli what a great idea about Naomi & Charlotte doing a switcher-roo!

message 233: by Hannah (new)

1101768 I agree, Holli. I can totally see Charlotte joining them in place of Naomi & Naomi will still be just upstairs.

message 232: by Holli (new)

622853 I can't believe I forgot to comment on this finale---damn what a show!!! I was on the edge of my seat with Violet and the crazy chick, man oh man what a cliffhanger!!

I feel bad for Noah's wife but I also can see the feelings and how strong they are between he and Addison. I'm not sure what to think about that whole situation.

They should let Charlotte join them and let Naomi join the other practice...that should mix things up for awhile!

message 231: by Thauna (new)

1494961 They have been picked up for a full season next year, so it should be the Fall. No more of the mid-season stuff, so that's good.

message 230: by Roxy (new)

1130679 I'd assume fall as well but you just never know what these networks are gonna do now.

message 229: by Holli (new)

622853 LOL...I'm not sure......I would say in the fall though right?

message 228: by Rociel (new)

1674415 ok.. so when does the new season start??? i need me drug (which of course is in fact this show) whoop!

message 227: by Hannah (new)

1101768 I know what you mean, Rociel! I felt the same way.

message 226: by Rociel (new)

1674415 can i just say that i was left flabbergasted! i was so depressed at the fact that the show ended like it did. That patient lady was so crazy and i think that the cliffhanger was not cool at all. is violet ok? how about that baby? did the lady even cut? I was left mouth wide open for about 5 minutes afterwords. Leave it to shanda to do something like this but hey shes still awesome. I wonder what ever happened to the parents with the switched babies????

message 225: by Hannah (new)

1101768 I know what you mean, Roxy, but then again, their marriage has been on the rocks for a while.

message 224: by Roxy (new)

1130679 don't forget, Charlotte still has her job at the hospital....whatever that is but she's one of those higher-up doctors.

I'm not sure I agree, Hannah. I think it is a real shitty time to suddenly say "this isn't working. I think I love someone else. Or I at least in-lust w/ someone else.

message 223: by Hannah (new)

1101768 Ok, I just watched the season finale & was so depressed afterward! Almost everyone was left on a bad note. I couldn't believe the crazy patient & what she's doing w/Violet's baby. It kills me to have to wait for next season. What will happen w/Charlotte? Do you think they'll let her join their practice?? And I don't like the idea of breaking up a marriage but I really feel for Addison & Noah. They need to just tell his wife instead of him living a lie & staying unhappy w/her.

message 222: by Stephanie (new)

1768864 Violet is selfish and self centered and cannot see past the nose on her face!

I still think the shows need more Charlotte and LESS Violet!

message 221: by Rachel (new)

1301152 It's only classic to leave with the cliff hanger of the wacko trying to cut Violet's baby out..and I agree with Thauna that Sheldon is probably the baby's dad, even though Violet picked Pete.

message 220: by Holli (new)

622853 Yes...by one more episode I meant the 4/30 episode. I haven't watched it yet.

message 219: by Thauna (new)

1494961 Holli this week was the season finale...but they were picked up for a full season next year.

I'm so glad Violet picked Pete, they are cute together and in classic soap opera fashion Sheldon will "probably" be the father.

message 218: by Roxy (new)

1130679 I believe the 4/30 episode IS the season finale.

message 217: by Holli (new)

622853 Thauna I think we have one more episode before it ends for the season so we'll get some closure on the crazy lady attacking at least.

I'm feeling a weird triangle parent thing may end up happening don't you? I swear they better clear that up soon!!!

message 216: by Roxy (new)

1130679 Ooopse....posted too soon.
Pete said no matter whose it is, they could raise it together but I wonder if he factored in that Sheldon would be helping too if it is his.

message 215: by Roxy (new)

1130679 Thauna - your poor daughter!!! Tell her to stay away from crazy people who were once pregnant!

I think Violet has been selfish during the pregnancy, wanting to do everything by herself or with Cooper rather then findingo ut the dad. And I really question how Pete is going to feel out the baby if it does turn out to be Sheldon's.

message 214: by Holli (new)

622853 I know they can do an amnio but I thought Violet chickened out and said no....she wanted to wait.....

message 213: by Thauna (last edited May 01, 2009 03:03PM) (new)

1494961 I agree with both of you Roxy and Holli. Enough of the baby daddy stuff...on Days of our Lives they can figure it out during pregnancy. But I think it was that Violet didn't want to take the risk, since she is over 40.

Roxy, I'm right there with you on the cliffhanger!!! Come on that was an awful thing to leave us with! My pregnant daughter was freaking out! And we have to wait till what September?!?!?!

message 212: by Roxy (new)

1130679 I forget, couldn't they find out who the father was before the baby is born? If so, why didn't they do this again.

I got what you are saying about Charlotte. Her at home side gives her more control over her situations. She seems to be a control freak when you think about it.

message 211: by Holli (new)

622853 Hmmm...just finished not last night's episode but the one before. I'm honestly getting a little tired of "who is Violet's baby's daddy?". Its getting old and needs to end. Figure it out and let everyone move on with their lives. Or actually---Violet just needs to figure out WHICH guy she wants. That's what it comes down to because i think they would both be with her if she wanted them to be regardless of who is the father. God that was convoluted--hope you guys get what I meant. LOL

I'm sorta thinking that yes Addison needs control but if he really doesn't want to be with his wife he needs to leave her. Come on!

I really like Charlotte and Violet's friendship---that's a great storyline. And I also like how Charlotte is one way in her personal life and another in her professional life. She has morals she adheres to it seems and her character is pretty true to life really. Most of us act one way at work/school and another at home right? Everyone does that to some degree!
