I just watched the season premire. Any thoughts. *SPOILERS*

I am sooooo glad Rose's "I'm carrying in your child" was a psych moment. Not funny. But sooooo glad. Same thing goes for Meredith's dead-Derek dream in the very begining. Why are they toy with us so soon.

Glad to see the former Journey Man actor (no idea of his name) got a job. Think he's supposed to come back. How can he not?

Oh yeah...he comes back to become Christina's new boyfriend I think......are we talking about the soldier doctor or someone else? Roxy you and I must watch the EXACT same TV shows. How is it that we haven't talked about THAT before?? LOL

I loved the premiere & totally freaked out when Rose joked that she was having Derek's baby. Roxy, you're right, that was not funny at all!

I really liked the soldier & hope he does come back. Maybe he could loosen Christina up a bit. :)

I was a little frustrated with Meredith already getting cold feet about Derek moving in with her...I mean, come on, either you want him or you don't. She needs to quit listening to other people's sob stories & comparing them to her own life & future.

I agree, Hannah.....Meredith has got to stop using other peoples lives as her excuse not to live her own. They really were going overboard with her I thought. how can someone who can't make up her mind about her own life be a doctor!! kind of scary.
I noticed Izzy pineing for George a little bit, then she stopped herself. They need to find someone else for her, I never liked her and George together. G was so opposite from what Denny was.

Denny is my dream man.....sweet Lord he needs to come back from the dead!! On this show AND on Supernatural LOL ;)

I cannot stand Meredith and Derek together. Her character is my least favorite on the show.

Oh, but to see Denny again...wow, did I cry watching that episode when he passed away. I watched the first several seasons of GA on DVD. Now I am watching it as it airs.

She's my least fave too Stephanie...I actually love Izzie and Bailey. They are my favorites but I so think Sandra Oh plays Christina beautifully.

not too thrilled about the premiere. it started to fall back to hard and too soon on the meredith trying to find an excuse to damage everything around her. she was looking for a way out.....finding something anything to be feel enabled to screw up her life with mcdreamy.

I know Faith...poor guy.... Why must they do that to him?? He's so hot!! I was tired of the scenes with Meredith too because I feel all she does is whine and cry about EVERYTHING. Its irritating. Just be happy and get over yourself already!

I love Bailey too & her "won't put up with anything" attitude. My husband can't stand Meredith. I know she's had her issues, but c'mon...get over it already and move on to brighter & better things.

i was just okay with the premiere. it wasn't as fantastic and i'd hoped. i agree with you all about meredith and derek. i wish she'd get over her issues because i'm getting sick of that story line. and i'm so glad the Rose-pregnant thing was a joke and that Derek didn't die!! i also really liked that army guy who kissed Christina. i hope he comes back!

and I LOVED Denny!! i wish they would have never killed him!!! that season finale was the most amazing episode and i get goosebumps thinking about it!

First, Denny is hot. He is hot in a rumpled-hair and wearing a pocket t shirt kind of way. Love him. He was awesome with Izzie.

Second, I loved the army guy kissing Yang. I would love to see something good like that happen for her. The episode with her "wedding" to Burke was so sad...to see her show that much emotion.

Third, everytime Meredith shows up on screen to whine about something, I want to flip to the Weather Channel. Her character is just SO unlikeable.

Finally, why has everyone slept with George? They are all friends! Gross!

The soldier/doctor guy was in Rome on HBO. I'm so glad that he's going to be on Grey's.

I will have to say that I cry (almost) every time that Meredith and Christina talk about being each other's "person" because I think it's so sad, yet great, that each is the other's person that would list to be contacted in case of an emergency. The first time that conversation happened, I thought about my "person" who happens to be my husband, and he is exactly that--he's my person--he's the one who really knows me.

The soldier/doctor guy was in Trainspotting, too. He wasn't so sexy then - but I see him now (on both Journeyman and Rome) and I'm totally panting in response to how sexy I think he is. Ha! Ha! I think he's a permanent addition to the show.. at least I hope he is...

Lucius Verenus was the best part. Grey's is quite a step up from the crap that was Journeyman.

Even then I think I may just give up, the inane drama is just getting annoying now. Especially Meredith's whine, and Alex is also a broken record...

Can some one refresh my memory on what happened to Alex's split personality girl. That is what it ended up being, right? MPD? I know the acress has that new show coming up which by the way looks like it might be enjoyable.

The "I'm having your baby" definitely had me angry since I saw the first commercial and I agree, I'm so glad that it was not true. I kept bitchen to myself about these older men & women on TV who are so smart yet they are too stupid to avoid getting pregnant...and they are doctors and nurses! It was definitely a good "gotcha" moment.

I agree about Meredith, it is so old listening to her whine and sabotage herself...didn't she see a shrink last year and get that fixed!

I can't believe anyone liked that soldier!! All I wanted to do was hit him. My daughter, (18) and I have a "girl's night" on Thursday to watch Gray's and ER, (she come's home from college each week for that night), and we were both agree that he was a total a**hole! What a macho, totally not good looking, jerk...I can't believe that anyone finds him sexy. I especially can't believe that they are having strong, independent Christine fall for that garbage. Oh well, to each his own I suppose but I still think that a man is writing it.

Sherri that is so cool that your daughter comes home each week for girls night TV! You're right, Solider Boy was a total a-hole but lets face it, Kristina is not exactly sweet either. Perhaps she needs another alpha to have frisky alpha fights with.

I loved the attraction between Yang and soldier man. I loved how he just got carried away and kissed her after he pulled out the icicle. That was the highlight of the show for me. If he doesn't become a regular I going to write to them!!

I agree with what you are all saying about Meredith, it is old. I don't get why they keep trying to make her the star of the show. She does nothing for me.

I also think the sexual attraction between the two women doctors is adding quite a twist to the show.

I think they should do more with McSteamy, he is pretty hot too.

I really loved the attraction too Meg! They were my fave part of the episode......I love the chemistry between the two of them. I think that people love so many of the different characters on the show that they shouldn't make anyone the narrator...or maybe switch that narration part off between them all. That would be fun!

I loved last week's show. I cried when the older patient with the pain issue was talking about losing his wife, describing her as his best friend, his favorite person....oh, I lost it at that point.

I was so mad Christina took the apt. idea from Izzy & asked Callie to room with her. And I did not see it coming when Alex hinted about his feelings for Izzy. I still don't know what to think of him & his intentions w/her.

I'm a little disappointed with Alex being interested with Izzy again. I see him wanting something real but find someone else. Stop dating in the circle.

I want McSteamy to have a bigger role. I thought all the catastrophes in the hospital really added to the show.........meanwhile George is quietly carrying on with his desire to takes his tests. The chief has lost it. The Liz/George thing is getting interesting.

Is it me, or is Callie just getting prettier and prettier with each show? She was a knockout last week.

I don't like the straight hair on Callie. It looks too greasy or something.

LOL - the look on Miranda's face when Callie unloaded her worries about, as Miranda put it, the motherland....hysterical!! And Miranda looked so proud after she gave her little bit of advice.

That was the best part I think. Miranda's facial expressions are incredible. I love her. The whole way they talked about the sexuals parts were laugh aloud funny. I think this was a great episode.

That was my favorite part too! I loved the elevator scene too with the music cutting off when Miranda was caught staring....hahaha. :) And the music just made it even better.

I think Callie does look better than she used to. She's lost the attitude and has been showing her softer side. I think it makes her more appealing now.

I was so mad at George when he left Lexy at the hospital and went to the bar with the other girls. I wish she would tell him how she feels!

George takes Lexy for granted like Meredith did to him. Will be interesting to see what happens when he gets a clue.

OK guys, what did you think of last week's episode. I am not sure I am liking their twist on the whole Lesbian scene there. When I was talking to people at work they were mad, and to quote them "What makes you think you have to go to a man to figure out what to do? We own the equipment." Do you think that was a sexist twist on everything?

George is such a good guy, I can't understand why they are making him a jerk (in regards to Lexy) She so funnily nerdy! I love her photographic memory.

What do you think about the Izzy and Alex rehook up?

I like Izzy and Alex together. I think they are good for each other. They keep the other in line somewhat.

George just doesn't think twice about Lexie so to him he isn't being mean. He needs to see what's in front of his face though because those two would be great together....

The more I watch this show the more I can't stand Meredith. And why is Derek being such an ass to everyone this season? My favorites are Bailey, Christina, and Izzy now.

I find Cally & what's-her-name's relationship boring. I see friend chemistry but I don't see any other spark. It looks like two friends trying something that just isn't going to work. I hope it ends soon but ends on a good note because they both seemed to need the friendship.

I agree. I'm bored with Hahn's and Torres' relationship. It's like, "get on with it." I have to agree with some of you that maybe it's the lack of chemistry between the two characters. Anyone like last night's episode with the Pigs? It was kinda boring last night although I am very happy with the new addition: Kevin McKidd. And FINALLY! Izzy and Alec make it official.

Callie and Erica's burgeoning romance on "Grey's Anatomy" is coming to an abrupt end, and so is Brooke Smith's role as Dr. Erica Hahn.

Smith's final appearance as Dr. Callie Torres' flame comes in this Thursday's episode of ABC's medical drama, the network said Monday.

The move was a creative decision and unrelated to the sexual orientation of Smith's character, said series creator and executive producer Shonda Rhimes.

"Brooke Smith was obviously not fired for playing a lesbian. Clearly it's not an issue, as we have a lesbian character on the show — Calliope Torres," Rhimes said in a statement Monday.

Sara Ramirez, who plays Callie, is an "incredible" actress and the goal is "to play up her magic," Rhimes said. "Unfortunately, we did not find that the magic and chemistry with Brooke's character would sustain in the long run."

The breakup's effect on Callie will be reflected in upcoming episodes, Rhimes said.

"I believe it belittles the relationship to simply replace Erica with `another lesbian,'" Rhimes said, noting that Dr. Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh) mourned the departure of Dr. Preston Burke (former cast member Isaiah Washington) for a full season.

I'm relieved to hear that Hahn is done. I like Torres but was bored with it. So I'm glad they're moving on!!!

I'm glad they saw there wasn't any chemistry but they didn't ahve to fire Brooke Smith! Couln't they just end the relationship?! how come Brooke was fired. She was alright, just no chemisstry for that specific romantic relationship.

Ok, did some quick reading on the internet.....apparently a ton of people wrote to Disney, owner of ABC, and said because of the Lesbian sex relationship and told them they'll never purchase anything relating to Disney again. *Sigh* can people over react just a little bit more?!
I'm still not sure why Brooke had to be fired....I guess someone had to take the hit for the team?
