10818 I know that Chicks on Lit satisfies just about EVERY craving, but I just joined a tiny little group here called ArtsyFartsy and I'm hoping to get a few others to join. Also I love the group about Movies we've just watched and also TV we've just watched. I have seen a few of you there. :-) Any other good groups I'm missing?
-teri

772262 I am on Amanda's group and The movies. I don't know what Artsy Fartsy is can you explain it?

message 5: by Emily (new)

613341 I'm in FU (nope, not gonna work as an abbreviation)...*ahem* Fatties Unite, and some other about young adult lit, church books, writer stuff, but I don't keep up with them except to log my weight. I can only keep up with y'all!

message 6: by Laura (new)

1394928 I'm also on The next best book club, True North & can barely keep up as it is. If I joined another one I think it would be FU! LOL

1518370 I'm also on The Next Best Book Club, The Rory Gilmore Bookclub, College Students, TV i've watched..those are the only ones i'm active on. there is a philadelphia group but its dead!

744602 I'm on too many groups! I discovered you wonderful people just recently, but that's why I don't post so much. Actually, I don't post that often elsewhere, all my time is spend catching up on posts others have written. And then I wonder why I've been on the computer all day and haven't gotten a thing done in the real world.

1130679 Oooo....there's a LM Montgomery group?! I'll have to check that out. I haven't picked up her books in awhile but always loved Anne of Green Gables.

I'm intrigued by the Artsy Fartsy name so I'll have to check it out too.

Other groups I'm in, though this one is the bestest:
TV We Watch (or something like that)
Movies We've Watch (or SLT)
Nicholas Sparks Group
James Patterson Group - used to read his stuff a lot but disliked a recent nonGR book choice so much I had to discuss more.

391295 This is the main board I check. I also belong to a Marian Keyes group and Study Buddies (I think that is the name - it is for fans of Maria Snyder's Poison Study/Magic Study/Fire Study books).

I used to belong to others but I didn't go in them so I deleted them from my groups.

424383 Chicks is definitely my favorite, but I lurk around the Next Best Book, YA Lit, etc.

Kindred Spirits sounds great. The Anne of Green Gables books are still some of my favorites of all time. I've never laughed harder.

I'm also going to take a peek at ArtsyFartsy, Teri. My twin sister and I both freely admit that when God was handing out left brains, we were both finger painting in the far reaches of the universe.

1297101 I think it's Jodi Picoult Book Reading Group. Some of the members there have contacted her via email regarding certain subjects. Lots of JP love over there!

1001 books you must read before you die
I have read some books that I would have never looked at otherwise.

message 20: by teri (new)

10818 I'm going to have to check out the Anne of Green Gables group. I've always wished I could go live in that place and time.

message 21: by Leslie (new)

1017061 Okay besides Chicks on lit...on Goodreads.com I am in the following groups.

1. Jane Austen
2. What's Cookin'
3. 1 000 Places to See Before You Die
4. British History

then on Yahoo I have 2....British Classics & Classics Reading Group II (CRGII)

I jump a bit on the classics, but for the most part I participate in all of them. Some more than others....
