That was the last item on the challenge. As I expected, the last challenges I completed were for poetry and literary fiction.

Can I just say that what you're doing is awesome! I think it's great that you are reading books that are outside the box of what you normally read.I think I might try something like that...I always try to chose books that are different but I always seem to go back to what I love to read.
Literary fiction has more than one definition. Pick whatever one suits you. I know almost nothing about The Story of Edgar Sawtelle, but offhand I'd say you could call it literary fiction, sure.I'd say that any book that isn't prose would count for the poetry category, so yes, a novel in verse is more than fine.
I have a few questions - please give me an example of literary fiction- would the Tale of Edgar Sawtelle be considered one? Would I be able to read a novel in verse rather than an anthology of poems? Thanks, BJ
